Hello Martin Sadler, great job, I have been watching your videos, they are very explanatory and help a lot of people who are starting in art, which here we call Martelinho de Ouro. You use some sensational tools, a shame that you can't import them, because our currency in relation to the dollar is very devalued. Once again congratulations on the teachings !!! Ps .: If you have some used tools that will sell for a good price, let me know !!! Geovani Araujo Brazil.
@dentremover01
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Geovani thank you for your kind words my aim is to show the full process as indepth as possible, and show the tools I’m using. The actual tools I use are quite basic. Just one bar and a selection of basic tips. Then there’s the lighting but you don’t need fancy led boards really, just nice to have them. I’m very suprised you can’t get tools in your country. Does that mean to but a tool in the USA costs a lot more due to the currency? I’ll see if I have any old tools! Thanks Martin
@GigioFera1

@@dentremover01 Great Martin, thank you very much for your attention. Yes, it is not feasible today to bring a tool from the USA because my currency here, which is the Real, is 6 Reais for a dollar. Very sheltered and big hug !!!

Hi Paulo thanks!
Crackin job as always mate. Impressive finish quality when you can show video of the finished product using various light sources/reflections. Just a little confused as to who on earth are the two people who gave this a thumbs down and why? I'm guessing some people will always hate when they feel threatened by someone else's success. Keep on doing it mate, quality will never go out of style. 👍

Thanks Colin! I like fog but miles quicker with lines. I find that fog works well to show the damage on video. Regards the thumbs down.... got 3 now. No matter what you do someone won’t like something. I hope I got right under their skin lol! Thanks Martin

@@dentremover01 Great Martin, thank you very much for your attention. Yes, it is not feasible today to bring a tool from the USA because my currency here, which is the Real, is 6 Reais for a dollar. Very sheltered and big hug !!!
Awesome job! Shame you're so far from me, I've got a couple of dents on my brand new car which I know you'd be able to sort out.
Thank you friend! I really like your videos, although I don't understand much in English. I'm from Pechora. Russia.

Another flawless repair Martin👍 and great video too. Im the same as you...always go back to the line board🤣🤣. I cant finish a dent on fog...yet.🙂 I still need to get one of those hoop bars...where did you get it from?
@dentremover01

Thanks Adam! I hardly use fog but had a few requests to use it as they don’t like lines! I do like the fog as it shows the texture better than lines, but lines for me shows the damage up better. Hula hoop bar is still getting sorted dont worry once I can sort them il let you know! Thanks Martin
Interesting. Just been quoted £1500 to repair a dent on my Corsa’s tailgate along with minor damage to rear bumper. Who knew accidentally reversing into a gate could be so expensive?

hello martin its really amazing work that you did on the fender and i always watches your videos and i am pdr begginer from east Africa and i make double bend interchangeable tips but the degree of the bend is not same as you are using , so could you tell me the degree bend size and length please. And i am waiting your feedback eagerly.
Again, amazing work. I'd love to know how long these dents take you and what your charging for a dent like this.

Is there any way to repair a botched dent repair job? a few high spots and pins visible on the arch from tapping the hammer? Looks poo. Thanks

I know it's minor but another dent guy also refers to the material as metal if a magnet sticks. But aluminium is a metal as well. Magnets stick to ferrous metals such as steel. Sorry to be pedantic. :-)
@dentremover01

Hi VT yes your right! It’s easier to just say metal/ aluminium (stick/not stick) as the difference in metals plays a big part in repairing....but your quite right! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed the repair video Thanks Martin
Nice one!! I thought it was also going to pop more in the beginning! What’s the deal with the fog board? Gone to the dark side? 😁
@dentremover01

Haha don’t you start Nik! Fog is not what to professionals use! Lines is for the true masters!!! Honestly I thought from the repeater down to the bodyline would magically pop out but the bottom edge would be a twat to fix. Turned out the bottoms edge was easy and the bulk was a pain!! Lines/fog I still fixed it!

Thank you Bjorn. My lift goes to about 6ft. It’s more than I need but better than a mid rise which didn’t go as high. It’s ideal when bottoms of doors need repairing. No need to lay on the floor anymore Thanks Martin
