if my ex (who did the breakup) just stopped initiating after breakup..I will go no contact without even having to tell them. I don't think this is any short of mind game, it is just reflecting their actions.

This is just what I needed. Our interactions aren't bad. But we met last Friday and it got super emotional and we left on a note of being confused and unsure what to do next. He's pulled back a bit so maybe for the next week or two, I'll lean back too. Two days in to doing that and I signed up for sign language classes and have looked into going back to school in the fall. I'm gonna take the next week to get as much done as I can (within reason) so I don't sit here obsessively wondering what he's doing. I'm gonna take concern in what I'm doing! He already said he sees a huge difference in me appearance and personality wise since we broke up. Of course I want him to be proud of me but ultimately I want to be proud of me :)

Do you feel it's necessary to wait on him to contact me since he was the one that broke things off? I have been in no contact for at least 30 days and it has been 5 months since we have spoke he has me blocked on every Avenue except regular Facebook because I can see his profile but we are no longer friends. The fact that he doesn’t believe no contact all the time tells me he doesn’t know what he’s doing. You don’t ever announce no contact either. No contact is for you to move on primarily, but it’s also respecting their decision, and giving it to them so they experience the break up. No contact isn’t unnecessary, it’s the mature thing to do so you can grow, and bad memories can fade. The time span may be different for some situations, but it’s always the respectful thing to do for them and yourself.

If I would have stayed, I'd have been working my ass off while she did the minimum and went out to play pretend rockstar. Sometimes it's better to let some people go and move on.

My ex broke up with me last year after 5 years and started dating this girl he met on Tinder... she got pregnant a month after they met, they moved in with each other.. have been going on vacations, publicly on social media (something he never did with me) they’ve been moving hella fast in they relationship... their one year of being together will be in May...the weird part is he randomly texts me romantic songs dedicated to me and sometimes brings up our past, and also tells me what she doesn’t do, that I use to... mind you I don’t text or call him unless it’s about our son...what does all this mean

@@michaelslinger3998 Relationships are different Michael, you cannot just keep the receipt on something you thought was better then after a few years take it back to the shop and expect to go back to the previous model. Having said that how someone left you and what led up to it is all very important , did you deserve it or did they just quit because of an orbiter or grass is greener syndrome? If your relationship had a connection and they just gave it all up and walked away then that speaks volumes for who they are and who you are. Go back to that if you want but after a long period of time its quite insulting to thnk they can just turn up unannounced and commence where they left off...............moving on with your life is the best advice and by the way life is short , its all ridiculous , what you do or dont do counts for very little , we will all die and in a very short time be forgotten by everyone we ever came into contact with so dont get hung up on anything or anyone. Stay healthy , learn and enjoy........
