How to Artfully GIVE HER SPACE in a Relationship (GET HER BACK)

How to Artfully GIVE HER SPACE in a Relationship (GET HER BACK)
If your wife says she needs space, how do you artfully give her space in a relationship in order to draw her closer to you? How should you actually give her space, let her come to you, give her space to miss you, or to give her space to come to you?
To give her space when she pulls away or and to give her space and time she needs, can be a scary thing. You may not trust that if you give her space, she’ll come back. But it’s only scary when you don’t know how to give her space the right way.
In this video, I am going to show you how to properly give your girlfriend space, how to give her space when she’s mad or give her space after a fight, and how to give her space but still show you care.

I'm scared to loose her. I am highly talking in terms of emotionally as she feels like there is no hope of us meeting any time soon.

I'm in this situation, i knew I loved her before, but I didnt realize just how much till she was gone, we didnt specifically say it's a break but we didnt end on a bad note, she has depression and bi polar, I'm serious when I say our relationship could not have been better, we have never even had a fight or called each other a bad name, last week her dad was arrested and she cares about him alot, I asked to see her and she said she needed time to process things, that's when the calls and text slowed, her mood towards me got more dull, and she didnt wanna make any more plans to hang out, then after a week of that she said she doesn't wanna be in a relationship, she had a really tough time saying it tho, I could tell it hurt her to do, she said she wants Space, over the past 6 days iv tried to but a few times iv failed, trying to start conversations or asking her meme how shes doing, her birthday is in 2 days and yesterday I drove over and dropped off gifts outside and left, I know I invaded her space when I did those things but trying to not talk to someone who you love so much and had such a amazing relationship with hurts, shes left me on read but still opened the few text I did send, did I ruin it, can I fix this, I'm scared she won't come back. Iv decided tomorrow I send a video stating happy birthday and apologizing for me failing to give space, saying I need to do better and I will do better. And that I love her and always have, I always will, if you see this and have advice it would be much appreciated, any questions about the situation that would help just ask

It’ll always give her something to chase if she wants your full attention but can’t get it

As a woman, I can vouch for these being the right things to do! I know that out of fear it's natural to want to grasp harder when someone wants space, but either way she's gonna get her space even if that means leaving you for good. When you give her space as she needs it (maybe she's just introverted!), she learns that you are respecting her needs, preferences, and wants.

@@jjn411 I'm not the expert but my thoughts are: 1. When she's first telling you she wants space, you can ask & listen carefully to why she says she needs it (is it about you at all or is it something she's personally going through that has nothing to do with you). 2. Ask, listen to and talk about the type of contact she is ok with. Does she literally want none or just a decrease or different type? 3. If she's asking for no contact at all for awhile, you can let her know that you respect this & her boundaries completely because you care about her, and you'd like to know now if she would like to be the one to reach back out when she's ready or if she'd be ok if you check in with her in a few weeks? Or some other amount of time?

I wish I saw this video sooner. 😔First off, I was the one that broke up with her in the heat of the moment (I'm working on myself). I tried to get her back and she said she needed space. I was calm and good for a few days, but then started the typical begging and pleading. Gave her space again after that for like a week in the meantime started seeing a therapist and reading books. I was so excited about what I was learning and uncovering that I hit her up again, with many texts about how I feel we could approach our problems mixed with saying how much I loved her and would do anything for her. She appreciated that Im working on myself, but still wanted space. Her last message in response included "I hope you continue to find insight and happiness. I need to respectfully ask you to limit these texts." I took that as she was saying it's over over and responded with a very loving farewell message. I'm not sure I made a mistake in doing that, but I know I need to give her space for a long while regardless. Her birthday is also this weekend and I had already ordered her 2 arrangements of flowers to be delivered to her mom's where she's staying! Geoffrey, please help!

We’ve been together for almost 3 years and she said she wanted space. She said she had mentally already told herself she wanted space in the relationship but just couldn’t vocalize it to me. I started to see her detaching and sharing less with me. We have a small 6 month year old daughter and that was one of the biggest things I feared. Losing her and the relationship with my daughter but I realized we both needed space before we completely lost for each other. I’ve already seen what I need to work on on myself. I fear her moving on for good and getting with someone else but that’s just life indeed. We win some, you lose some.

I messaged someone after 2 days of space just to check in, she was happy with us staying in touch. It was amazing and we chatted quite a bit yesterday but I had to acknowledge that this wasn't exactly giving her space, she said it was just as much her fault as we get on so well. We agreed to not talk again for a few days, it is hard but I get giving her space as things felt nice yesterday and she said she'd missed me but that isn't what she needs at this time. I left it with her today saying I'm here for her if she needs me and the door is always open. Thank you for this video as it helped me get across in words what I would have struggled to do before and the analogy helped my brain see it in a clearer way.

Great video! This one and others have really eased my anxiety. It’s been the hardest few days for me since she said she wanted a “no contact” exclusive break. Meaning we are still dating, but we just aren’t communicating. I’ve felt physically ill and have puked these last days, but i’m definitely trying to better myself for myself but also for her. I hope this doesn’t last forever. Much love!

I've been watching and re-watching all your videos, its definitely been a long 6 weeks since my wife asked me for a divorce and kicked me out the house. But in the last 4 weeks she went from zero contact to sending me small messages (mainly about our son) and wanting to be friendly. She currently says we will never have a "marriage relationship" but also saying we could build a friendship. This has definitely been hard for me, but has allowed me to see all the things I've done almost to a T and learn how they hurt us and learn what i need to do to better myself. Thank you soooo much for making these videos.

Hearing that is heartbreaking, but its best for your son to rebuild somewhat of a relationship for the good of your son. I grew up with a mother and father who hated eachother and it scarred me emotionally, this being the main reason I lost my partner of 6 years.

Been watching your videos as I go thru a hard situation of her wanting a separation and space and I wanna thank you for such good advices and your videos have give me confidence and knowledge on how to handle this current situation with my dearly beautiful wife... There's many things I'm discovering about myself with your videos and I'm so impressed on how I ignored many bad traits of me that it was actually hurting her and pushing her away. I'm doing my best to follow your advices even tho I'm torn into pieces knowing I'm close to lose the love of my life. We've been married 15 years and have two beautiful kids.. We currently live in the same house and sleep in the same bed because financially we can't afford to live on our own so I'm giving my all to give her space while living under the same roof. If you could respond to me or maybe make a video explaining what to do when we can't afford to live separate but yet finding a way to give her space I will really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I'm currently working on myself little by little while trying my best to give her the space she needs... Thank you so much!! You been really helpful

After 15yrs together, my wife told me she misses and wants her freedom. That she no longer wants to compromise on her wants and desires, that she misses being able to make decisions without having to discuss it with anyone else. When we first got married, she also had a tough time with her "freedom" and she felt initial resentment about having to involve someone else in her life choices. Now, after a particularly trying day, she took a look at me during the drive home and asked herself, "Why am I doing this?" .. and my life has been in a downward spiral since.

  • @GeoffreySetiawan

No decision is ever final. Even a "final" decision isn't final. I've seen a lot of couples reconcile after years of divorce. The reality is that when you become the person who she just cannot say "no" to, they cannot help but say yes. Of course, this is different if they quickly re-marry or get with someone else -- but if your changes are really that valuable, then you should have any difficulties creating a wonderful relationship with someone else. Either way, you have nothing to be afraid of if you genuinely better yourself.

@@GeoffreySetiawan I'm definitely bettering myself. I always told this girl no matter what happens I will always prosper no matter what. I have a prosperous business and I'm the leader. If I lead my team with positive energy and they see as always a man with a vision everyone there will be fine. It's been already five days since she asked for time and I bravely and gently said yes. I still can't understand why the time off when I've been for this girl through heaven and hell in her life. I was in Italy in January and she said she was feeling hungry, and all the way from over there I ordered what she wanted to eat. I always told her that I never mix my money with our relationship, but small details like that I'd do them all the time. I always called her, sent her beautiful messages every day -because I genuinely cared for her. Now I'm here every night heart broken because I cannot find a reason why this time off. It's so sad.

Update: To whoever reads this. Geoffrey, good video. The truth is, time-off, space, a break, it's a "softer" way of breaking up. Once someone says to give them time, it's all over, don't make yourself illusions people. The best thing that probably happened, and not too exciting whatsoever, is that one begins to love themselves a little more and finally opens their eyes to see wrong things the other person did. Not everyone screws things up, I didn't, so after beating myself emotionally came a day that I said enough. I was a very good man, and that will never change. I'll just fly away and prosper alone!

My partner of 14.5 years and with 2 kids wanted a break and space. I took her for granted and spend more time in the gym and with friends most of the weekends.I gave her anxiety and panic attacks but never realised. When she moved out 2 years ago we still friends and spent Xmas at her mum and dad, I used to sleep at her once or twice a week for about a year and had the house keys. I no longer sleep there anymore and she took the keys from me. She always asked me for the space but unfortunately due to being immature I never gave her. 3 months ago we went together to her mum for lunch with the kids. She now said again all she wanted is space and she is talking to someone. Your advice gives me hope and the motivation to live and not doing something stupid with my life. All those horrible thoughts coming into mind. I hope that I don't lose her forever. I will give her the space and leave in the hands of the almighty God and work on myself in being a better partner because she means the world to me.
