its not soliciting if you are leaving flyers, its called canvassing. Soliciting is knocking on the door and trying to have a conversation with someone about services and products.

Thanks :) The lean & mean model is my all time favorite way to approach a new business. The reason I love side hustles is that they are incubators for you to test things out and you can take those business lessons and roll them into other businesses. And that's exactly what I was able to do.

Another great way to find customers is plastic discount. I gave my client a envelope with my logo on it. I put a a flyer I made, a business card, and two plastic gift cards. People love, helping their friends out and often give these gift cards to their friends.

ive had people call from those houses. no soliciting in my mind means "dont knock on my door" but leaving a card in the door doesn't really disturb them.

I to clean windows and they look so clean the other store owners came to me to get their windows clean

Are you calculating the $2000 a week by including gutters or is it really just windows? Only asking because I know gutters are pretty lucrative too and I wanna get the numbers right.

Yes, it is super easy to start an LLC and you can find very affordable bonds to protect yourself. Gives you an advantage over a lot of people that go into the business without being an official business. I know a lot of people go into this business without having an LLC or Bond and later on obtain the necessary paperwork but I would caution on the side of protecting yourself

I would advise getting a business license/insurance. In my state I am able to do it online and it took less than 12 hours to process. Depending where you are it is very quick

Lol the door says no soliciting. Flyers are the way to go nothing beats hard work. I've been doing this for a month. Don't listen to the average charge for a window 7$ a pane is just outside not outside and in. Do not sell yourself short total job should be exterior with screens and tracts + the interior - 3 dollars a screen

Technically you don’t need a business license but it’s helpful for when tax season comes around so you don’t pay as much on your taxes

Nope! You can wash whenever. Store fronts are great clients during the winter. It also depends on your geographic location. Whatever you do search out "wealthy" zip codes

Most people respect the hustle, seeing as its a service that is actually beneficial most don't mind. I think I've only ever ran into like 2 grumpy people in regards to "No soliciting" signs. I would say that 45% of the people who end up calling me out for a quote from those flyers have a no soliciting sign.

Right now all I have is business cards and my car magnet. I’d like to stick these cards on doors at the very least. So many communities here in central FL, most have signs, but screw it right!?
