Earn some money in US and keep a full stop at one point. Try to leave this country before your kids get maturity. I can’t imagine digging graveyard for my whole generation by getting green card and settling here. Emotional connect will always be there with India which we greatly miss. Initial Life may be luxurious but at the end it will be horrible

Hello Arthi and Prem, nice videos and good presentation! Can you post one video on what steps to be taken after green card is received? I am very confused on this as some people are saying we must get our SSN reissued, some are saying we have to inform our employer etc etc. It would be useful if you put some video on that. It may also be very relevant now as the EB queue is moving quite fast and lot of Indians are getting GCs issued.

Got this information from website Hope it clears ... your daughter will consider under the country quota UAE The basic rule of chargeability is that a person is charged against the quota for his/her country of birth. Country of citizenship generally has no impact on country of chargeability. For example, Ravi was born in India and is an Indian citizen. He subsequently becomes a Canadian citizen. Unless he fits within one of the exceptions discussed below, he still will be subject to the backlogged quota for India. This rule, however, can work in favor of the citizen of an oversubscribed country who happened to have been born in a different country. For instance, Lakshmi was born in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where her mother, an Indian national, was working temporarily. Lakshmi is an Indian citizen, but is still chargeable to the UAE.

You have to prove that the marriage did not happen just for the sole purpose of immigration. There is no civics test. Civics and English test are only conducted during citizenship interviews.

US born baby is considered as a US citizen and they will get all the citizenship benefits They can process green card for you once they reach 21
