Why A Woman Must NEVER PURSUE A Man & The Power She Has Of WALKING AWAY | RC Blakes

On Today's Episode:
Today’s narrative of the independent, strong, secure, empowered woman says we can do anything we want without a man’s approval. We are not victims or damsels in distress, we are total badasses capable of being CEO of Fortune 500 companies, caring mothers, best friends, truck drivers and construction workers.
With all that we are and all that we do there are still biological differences we may be ignoring in our fight against society’s narrative of oppression.
Is pursuing a man that you’re interested in a defiance of our biological nature or an act of defiance against what men in society say we shouldn’t do?
Pastor RC Blakes is a voice for female empowerment that doesn’t dance around hard conversations and addresses the realities women are struggling with in society. He’s the bestselling author of Queenology, Father-Daughter Talks, Soul-Ties and more. He and his wife, Lisa, also host women's conferences to bring healing and power to women in search of a better version of themselves free of abuse and manipulation.
Today’s conversation brings us some interesting points, some of which may be triggering:
What happens when women pursue men
Why women can’t behave like toxic men without consequences
Instead of looking for a high-value man, seek out what it takes to be a high-value couple with the right person
“Submissive” doesn’t have to be trigger, it can be a clear indication of the man your with
There is a relational rhythm of a healthy masucline-feminine dynamic in high-value relationships that may be a better target to aim at in your next relationship.
QUOTES:
“There’s a price to be paid for a woman who pursues a man.”
“If a woman has to jumpstart a man she will have to keep him motivated in the relationship.”
“If you need to be married or joined to someone, you don’t need to be married or joined to anyone. In other words, if you’re not a fulfilled, healthy and happy individual as a stand alone, you really don’t need to be joined with anyone.”
“When you don’t know your value, people can put you in places that you don’t deserve.”
“No woman should submit to a man that demands submission. If a man has to demand submission he does not deserve it.”
“Just cause a man can afford you doesn’t mean he can value you.”

So you don't believe in the idea that as you get to know someone more they might start to develop attraction as well as desire for commitment? By your logic whenever woman is the one that initiates first toward a man, then that man will never be motivated or/and change his feelings toward that woman even as they get to know each other. Isn't this interpretation of life a little too naive? In some cases this could be true but let's not apply this to every single case out there.

It's only in few cases that a woman Jumpstart a man and it pays off so what would be the point of stressing on that when in most cases that's not the case. Let the man pursue, he's built for that

  • @estoyaqui257

    @estoyaqui257

    Жыл бұрын

@@cybomakh210 you have a decent point. However I am not sure what you exactly mean by "pay off". Does it mean your feelings being reciprocated at first when woman initiate? Or reciprocated feelings later into the stage after they get to know each other? Or you mean a successful date? I think it's important that you know what you want out of a relationship with a guy that you initiated first to. And make sure you and him are on the same page. For example, at the very beginning when woman initiates first, she can be direct and tell him "hey I have feelings for you and I am curious whether you will feel the same later as we get to know each other. However if you see no hope in this or no potential then be honest and say no now and save us the pain and time for both of us. Are you in this or nah?" I know it may sound a little cringe but It's really important how the woman communicates and how direct she is in terms of what she wants out of the relationship. And if you do that you usually do just fine and guy will tell you what he wants and how he feels and from there u navigate what the best route is.

The stinging veracity of this statement made me realize I've done this in most of my romantic relationships - both in the dating phase and in committed relationships. I used to have problems with men. I wasn't happy being alone, and the men were never serious. I became unhappy with the situation. I just stopped dating! I was so sick of the very same thing happening over and over. Then I stepped away for 4 years. In those 4 years, I dated myself! Whatever I wanted I gave to myself! Wherever I wanted to go, I went by myself! I pampered myself and had quiet moments alone. I became so happy within, I felt so whole. I later found 4 respectable men that chased me. I choose one man and now have been happily married since. So get out there and make yourself whole and happy! Men will see your inner happiness and be drawn to it! You will never appear desperate because you aren't! You are happy all by yourself! Much ❤️

@K Y You won't be disappointed! When you start loving yourself, you will start to feel so fulfilled! The joy will come from within and you will just naturally draw people to you because of the positive energy. Men will feel it, and you will find yourself less clingy, and less needy. Just remember to show the feminine side of you too.. Always be youself too, no fakenes ls, the more real you are, the more comfortable the man will be. The more he can be himself! And men love to be around women that they are comfortable with, and that are easy to talk to. Like I said I had 4 men who were basically throwing themselves at me. My husband kept on me about marrying him. When in the past I couldn't get men to even say any word, that started with the letter M. Haaaa..... Soo...., go get out there and make yourself happy!! You got this! 😘👍🏽

@Natasha Kalanke I relied on my intuition, heart, and mind. You have to watch people, talk to people, and listen to people. Watch their actions around others and how they act towards others. And you don't race the relationship. I took 2 years to dive deeper after I was engaged before I took the plunge. I also prayed to God for his wisdom. and guidance. My husband was the one who loved me for me, had a lot in common with me, and made me feel at peace whenever I was around him. It's just a feeling you get, you will know. That man will stand out from the others. You will find the relationship just comes so naturally, and easily. You will know.

@@brieflyflesh4917 No man has time to waste just acknowledging you and entertaining you all day. It might seem cute in the beginning but most likely if that's all he does, he doesn't seem like the type to work nearly hard at anything, and will eventually become fat/lazy. I've wasted plenty of time in my youth doing those 2 exacts things you've said and that is just what a woman wants. It's going to detriment whoever you are with long term, and that's only red flags of being needy in my world. Especially in the times we live in today, no man has time to waste just sitting around lazily, and entertaining someone because they are bored. If you aren't actively lifting your man to be his best version, or helping each other out, I can guarantee you long term, whatever you have will not work. Women love hearing what sounds sweet to their ears but most words spoken are a double edge sword not meant to just validate a womans strengths but for them to understand the responsibilities you are required to do behind the words. A grown adult knows no one should be chasing anyone, that it should happen naturally regardless of who makes the first move. That both people should be working towards the common interest of building something with each other if their values align, and both people have to be able to provide something of value consistently for the relationship to grow. Anything else is child thinking.

Let's be clear, there are 2 sides to a sword just like the mans words in this video but women get lost in the context making it about themselves as usual. As a man or a woman, you don't deserve value by default. If you don't know how to help or serve anyone but yourself, you hold little to no value. Women that are hard working, consistent, honest, loving, caring, gentle, capable, supportive, that have little to no drama are the only types of women most men see as valuable. Otherwise men will just look at you as for the streets.

And I did the power of walking away trick to give him space to miss me. It worked. Stay strong, girls, feminine energy is passive, masculine is active. But let's not be under the illusion that if a man has pursued you, somehow this means the relationship is a guaranteed success. There are millions of men who have taken the 'masculine' role, pursued their women and are still controlling, manipulative, disinterested, dishonest and ultimately betray the person in their life. There is no panacea to dating someone who is simply wrong, except for dealing with your inner crap and having firm boundaries against emotional and physical abuse. Be a whole and healthy person, partner or no partner.

Men need fatherly wisdom they didn’t get in childhood to learn how to be a healthy masculine partner and a good man. The problem is a lot of women are out here listening to this advice and doing the work and healing and alone.. because majority of the men out there are still operating from their wounds and chasing lust and treating women as if they were disposable. Look at how many of these wise men are on social media gearing their messages towards women. We need more men leading the men to heal.

I know my dad loves me but he doesn't know how to show it, he's very acid and all the time puts me down, and all of that made a huge mark in my soul qnd I'm comming to learn that. He once told me "she's a woman, she can't say a thing about it!", what is really fucked up. I'm starting to understand that it was never my fault, but simply the way I learned I should behave to get a man's affection and attention, and that I learned it all wrong.

I was in love and wanted to believe he was a better man, all while risking looking like a clown. He initiated contact, sent texts, we talked for hours and he really tried keeping me around. Once I was in his orbit, he basically ignored me and acted like he simply tolerated my existence. Kept my hopes up until May 2023 when I cut contact with him. That's when all of a sudden he tried to follow me back and come back. I'm done with chasing and I'm done with him.

Actually they both went after each other. He saw her, and left clues (knowing she wouldn’t know). He felt for her but did not approach her. He was subtle, leeaving extra food for her to crop in his field. She made the first overt move by going where he would be at an event, ending up at his bedside uninvited. One could say, she pursued him. And they became a great couple and it was no threat to his leadership.

This is absolutely true! And it has little to do with religion, it has everything to do with the exchange of energies and merging of electromagnetic fields. You get something from that person (even their depression or negative energies) or any implants, chips or overlays they have in their etheric body. I learned these in my mid 20’s and changed radically once I realized the truth of this. There is science and spirituality in this, and all women should be taught that the WOMB is like a sponge, and it absorbes all the energies, specially emotions from others. So you gotta guard it like it’s a holy grail, others you’re gonna be carrying the energies, chips, implants and all that cr@p that men have.

I found out the hard way, this is NOT the natural flow of energy. He made out like theif in the night, would take girls on dates in the truck I bought and never took me out once. Lesson learned. Sometimes it's also the loving way that women take certain things out of context, and make it about themselves instead of looking at the bigger picture. There are 2 sides to a sword, and 2 sides to every word being spoken. What is important is that you work on improving yourself, have standards for yourself when it comes to finding a good man, and when you find someone worthy, it doesn't matter who pursues who first. What matters more is when you do find that one, you at least make an attempt to get his attention, and if he's interested, it's up to you to keep him. Women that cry about all men are the same are also the same women that probably never tried to be a decent girlfriend, or had any real value to give to a man because I can say this. I've seen women of all shapes and sizes get married by men. So it's the quality that you are as a person that is what keeps both a man and woman together. No man or woman is perfect but that's why having standards, and being honest about your own value as a person is important.

Of course a woman will be submissive of her man when he's a protector, not a controller, when he's a provider, not a taker, when he loves that woman for who she is and wants her to shine, not to shut her light down. I'm coming to the understanding that a lot of man only change for the better when a woman is strong enough to not accept bad behaviour from that man and put herself first at all times.

I don’t think a man should chase a woman either. They both should be willing to pursue (present the option of relationship) which is far from chasing. Anything that runs away from you has decided a lack of value in what they see. So if man or woman chases, they are trying to prove their value (which is unhealthy). To teach women not to present themselves to men as an option or the one with the idea of being an item- is because he underestimates women. All you have to do is listen to his “why.” All of his why is gross assumptions about what women cannot handle! Or what a man wouldn’t do for a woman based on her being the initiator. These are horrible assumptions! If a man is whole, he’s going to give to the woman he is married to period- regardless of her being the initiator of relationships. Only a man without wholeness deems this to be demasculating and cause to not treat her like a gift.

Lisa's shark analogy is spot on!! If you ooze desperation, you eill attract those wholl give you the bare minimum. If you ooze nothing but a sexual vibe, you will attract men who only want you for sex. But if you ooze charm, mystery, sexinrssy, confidence, happiness, etc., you will attract men enamoured by all that you are and only the one(s) who truly desire all that you are will pursue you on THEIR time frame, not necessarily your own. That's a process of weeding 'em out, so ladies - you must be patient, keep your options open until the right one steps up to the plate, and most importantly - be OPEN to the one who wants to earn you. - He wont necessarily look like your movie star "dream" man. He will surpass that in every aspect because the beauty and love he has for you cannot be deduced down to looks or money or whatever. Though he may already have those qualities, the ideal man for each of you will prove himself. Case in point: my bestie has a man who, when he married her, 6 months later did he very much prove himself when she got a cancer diagnosis. She didn't know if she'd ever be able to have kids. They worked together and not only did they have 2 beautiful kids together but he is a champion breadwinner, is very dedicated to her, and asks nothing more that she live, respect, and cherish him. Shes been going through some doubts, some 16 years in now, but I keep reminding her all that he did for her and continues to do. Her doubts arise from the fact that she has been caught up, lately, thinking that her fantasy "dream" man might be out there. I call that a mid life crisis. She already has the dream man. And ladies, we may not have these men forever. I know of someone wo lost her dream man to cancer at age 47 (him). So in truth, we women also have to be wose enough to know and see what REALLY holds value at yhe end of the day. Is he someone who respects you? Does he support you and your thoughts? Does he genuinely care for you? Would he have your back going through cancer, even if it altered your body or your ability to have children? Does he protect you? When youre both old and saggy and grey, will you both still be able to have good conversation and laughter? Think about it carefully. Stop giving in to social media and the need to flaunt your bodies barely clad. If you need to make your ass clap and twerk and if you need constant new gand bags and a brand new luxury vehicle but he doesn't and cannot fulfill all the stuff I mentioned, than you are just looking for unsustainable fillers that are temporarily filling a void. Know your worth and keep your chin up.

He is speaking facts! He just described a situation I’m in. My husband walked out on me. I didn’t see it coming. It left me broken. It left me feeling like something was wrong with me although I had not done anything wrong. I chased him for awhile trying to convince him to come back home. I had lost myself. I’m now working on healing.

Thank you so much for this interview! I've been going through a very hard time in my marriage and this really opened my eyes to some things I can grow in. My husband has definitely been a major jerk, at the same time I realize that I can grow even if he never takes the steps necessary to restore our marriage. I can still grow for myself and my kids and become a woman I can love and be a better partner if the opportunity should arise again

I’ve never heard it explained like this. The beginning about women shouldn’t pursue and the reason he explained was me in my teenage years. Every guy I pursued and got denied affected my self esteem so deeply. I’m happy I’ve been on this journey of really embracing my femininity. I’m attracting amazing men who provide protects and sees me as valuable.

This video not only hit me but also taught me a lot of things besides of my personal life experiences and the videos i have watched about relationship dynamics. Particularly, the story with Lisa made me feel emotional. I also found it beautiful. I need to have Lisa's mindset. However, sometimes it is dificult to have to let it go when you have deep feelings for your partner. But i hear that we should put our standards in front of our feelings. I feeded feelings for someone who ghosted me and promised then to come back (he apparently could not come) and still 'loves' me. I realize that this is not the type of behavior i want to be dealing with the rest of my life. I l try to bury my feelings for him but that is not easy. That is a big challenge. If things ended clearly, i would have maybe moved on quickly, but the fact of being left with no explanation makes me double the work when it comes to my healing process. *Your speech taught me : you cannot change someone, if they lack of character. Even though, you like/love someone if they do not follow through, quit the relationship for you personal respect so that the other one has space to think of it. That will protect you but also will make you look more valuable. If you chase a man and have him, he will be back but not stay* .

This is spot on.... I had to learn this very tough lesson in my late 20's and I never realized that my actions and drivers in seeking partners were fuelled by a space of lack of worth or understanding of my worth... I think it's natural for those that are still stuck in that mindset to kick against the content of this video... but along the line, someone is going to come along and teach us all the hard way that self worth is not optional, it's a must to find a solid counterpart... until that becomes the boundary, we'll never get what we truly want and compromise so much of ourselves for the incorrect people... and spot on on the comment, demanding submission will never earn the very thing that's being demanded, showing through actions and way of being that you can be depended on, can be trusted, act with good intent, and care....that will naturally cause a female counterpart to WANT to follow the man's lead... but arrogance and puffed ego? No thanks, I refuse

I feel this. I don’t approach men that I don’t know. But, if I’m on a relationship, I become the “chaser” and the “pursuer”, because I’m trying to keep it going. And it takes away from me everytime. I don’t feel good enough when I end up having to break up. So now, I won’t do anything. Simple. Unless that man proves he’s worthy enough, I literally won’t lift a finger or bat an eye. You better show me or I will keep it moving.

Men and woman should mutually pursue the relationship.. I think the cat and mouse game is so old and silly.. Real people do real things.. Both parties should provide proof they want each other not just a man.. If you show me this lackluster facade vi have to take that as if you don't like me so move on.. If you're giving bar minimum what's there to go off of??

@@jchapful I will show you as long as you show me that you are serious about me. The key word is to SHOW me. Men (I’ve dated) tend to do a lot of talking and then never show up. Have so many demands for a woman and “know” what a wife is, but don’t even have a handle on what it takes to be a husband.

The whole I will never approach a man is played.. You can go against the norm and it could work out better than you ever imagined.. People have these philosophy and most of it is based out of fear.. Don't be afraid to venture out and do things you were told not to do. Trust me it could change your perspective and life.. All men are not equal and the same.. We have different values.. @@jchapfulso true your first commen! I agree with what you said, man and women that are attracted and like each other, the two should pursue the relationship if they want to be in one! The man and women need to let each other know they're going to get it on 😂😂😂 right? That they're both in the same page.

I use to see my brother assign women each day of the week in rotation. It was the one who bounced that he married. She set boundries and didn't play. He told me if I chased a man he would whoop my azz. I never have problems. A Goddess attracts a man when she loves herself first. Self respect is sexy. Take care of your daughters fathers. Your boys need you too.

@Sparkle Agree Setting boundaries is key . Self-respecting women set BOUNDARIES. They make it crystal clear how they are to be treated, what is unacceptable and acceptable, and what needs and wants are necessary. You’re [you are] right about boundaries. Greetings from Chicago.

It’s not degrading it’s natural to go towards whom you are drawn to. This cultural practice of Dumping on women who are acting in their own interest is very ugly Idk how many comments I’ve seen saying dehumanizing remarks to women who are happy to persue as they like. Weird obsession trying to humiliate a confident woman.
