yes genetics play a role, but his hair genetics is pretty common, unless you got unlucky and got bad hair genetics like thinning hair with a recedin hairline

@@Potato_Guy33here’s what I do. I don’t scrunch so aggressively bc it can damage hair. I scrunch w towel LIGHTLY. Then I spray some sea salt spray. I let it air dry and then blow dry the rest. I wouldn’t blow dry your hair if it doesn’t have a cold air option. If it does have a cold blow drying option use that. Scrunch some sea salt pomade in your hair and that’s it.

My hair hasn't grown out long enough yet so i can't yet 😢

Nah if you have curly hair this is only gonna make the curls better. Tho if your hair is curly you are lucky bro. Get a taper fade or sum and your hair is gonna look majestic. Also take good care of it.
