Jeven, (10:50) thanks for showing this official way to denote a as playlist. All throughout the video I was hoping you would do so. I knew there was a way, but could not remember how. No one I asked knew what I was talking about. Best kept YT secret. I knew it mattered to YT to create proper series and they would promote them (though I didn’t know the videos should be spread out). Another thing, which I don’t believe you mentioned, correct me if I’m wrong, for this type of series, the videos must be unique, not in any other playlist. I’d heard that before. Thanks for the video!

I've been seriously thinking of adding a "series" on our channel where we make videos that cover social studies and science standards for kids in elementary school. This video helped me a ton with how to best go about it. Thanks!!

I do think playlists should have some similarities or it might throw your viewers off. Do you agree? I try to keep all my playlists relevant to KZread success.

Always great advice. Thanks. The series approach is great. I have done this. My channel deals with international politics, independence and statehood. However, I created a specific series on the Origins of Countries. It really gives a clear subset of videos. But the idea of differentiating them graphically is great. I’m already switching over the thumbnails to make them stand out as a distinct group. Will now look for how to do more to make them stand out. (And love Pixel Film Studios.)

If you’re doing travel then come up with video ideas that you can do everywhere you go. For example. Do a series that is “most bizarre food in X” or “10 things to do in x”. All depends on what you do on your channel but there is tons of ways to create series from travel

If it's natural to use the series title in the videos titles then yes include it. Will help create relationships between the videos

I started a vlog channel about trails through out Conn and once a month I would go out of Conn (My videos look really bad because I don't have a good lens Um Yeah) And do to the Pandemic I started making unboxing videos.. I honestly just love the woods going out on trails. Some day I'll get better :) We all start from the bottom and laugh 2-6 years later at how bad the videos were..

Thanks Jeven - This is super helpful to have better direction going forward, and create some more focused series for my small channel, while I'm just starting out. Thank you. Three brief related questions if you have time: 1. If I have some good content that comes up, which does't fit that well into say 3-4 series I have in mind to create - Would you put these into a kind of miscellaneous "everything else" series? 2. Would you recommend to re-organise/re-edit previous content into these series (which would take quite a lot of time), or just focus on this for new content going forward, and leave the historical content as it is on my channel? 3. Can you recommend a similar software/package, that can be used with Adobe Premier (Instead of Final Cut Pro) ? Thanks.

1. I would just leave them as stand alone. No reason to put them in a series playlist if they don't work together.. 2. Yes you can go back and add videos into series if they make sense for the series. 3. I only use FCPX so not sure.

I have not subscribed to them or tried them yet - Any suggestions on which might be preferable, before signing up to these types of services?
