Yo you explained it so easily bruh I was looking at these other videos and they always have it where you need to do a whole lot with it like put some gel on it and all that other stuff cause guys have told me that all they did was wet it and put some condition spray on it and have decent looking dreads

Hey! This video is very helpful, wanted a little bit of advice - I have quite long hair, curly by genetics, yet look more straight. Have had 1 dread for over 3 years and it's grown to the same length as the rest of my hair. My hair, when going down both sides and split down the middle, go roughly a bit under my jaw. Would such long hair be any problem for this method? And would there be extra maintenance required? Did this for my first time today, *immediately* went from relatively straight&hard hair to dread-textured hair. Now just have to wait for locs to form.
