This is one of your best videos yet! I like how you identify the issue and give clear, concise examples and solutions, and you include yourself in this one showing your vulnerability. My best self-love affirmation is "no matter what happens I love myself, God loves me, and I am worthy of this love."

Thank you for this video Mat... I have such a bad view of myself from years of abuse and losing my Gorgeous little boy Joe... I'd say my greatest thing I bring to any relationship is I'm affectionate and loving Joe Brought so many lessons to me in his Brave little life he had DMD and battled so I try to draw on that magical strength he had... 💙👣✨️🕊

I had been dating a man for about a month and a half. I just ended it. After healing from a bad relationship, I am the most confident I've every been in my life, and not afraid to set boundaries. I am smart enough to know this is not for ne, and brave enough to walk away. You helped me learn this Matt! I was the anxious attachment style due to past controlling relationship. I am now very secure. He wasn't the one. And now there is space for the right one. 😊

Really nice summation of the attachment styles, thank-you! They can so easily undermine relationships if you are not aware of them. Thank-you also for sharing your own experiences and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. It really helps to process the information you give at a deeper level. Love your channel!

Dearest Mat, This is my favorite video of yours! I am crying listening to the powerful truths you are bringing forth. I love how you talk about God and how we are Beloved in Him no matter what! This is the absolute foundation to restore broken lives and will wreck every evil plan of the enemy! It is so good to remind ourselves of these truths! Thank you so much and may God continue to bless you and your beautiful wife and children always!!

Hi Mat, I love how clear you put the different styles into perspective here. As a "recovering" anxiously attached woman, I would love your input on this: A secure partner will bring fun and a general good feeling to their man, that makes him not want to miss her in his life. But having conflict is normal, too - so how do I bring up conflict/unmet needs in a way that allows my man to trust that I am a safe partner, who brings way more fun than drama to the table? I'd love a video on that!!

I've never been so early "posted 53 seconds ago" 😂 Was binge watching your latest videos and just read the comments and I've got to agree with the fact that we need more tips on HOW to get the man, not just keep him. I've been following you for probably decades at this point and have learned so much yet I still find myself with such high standards that I can't find a man that I'm willing to share my life with. Maybe a video on "where to find a man..." would help us bridge that gap to start finding dates 🙏🏻. Much love all the way from Tijuana, Mexico 🎉

It all comes back to what you believe about yourself and your beliefs about other peoples abilities to meet your needs. 1. Own the belief system that you are worthy of love and you are enough. “God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called. 2. Believing that other people are capable of meeting your needs. 3. Make very clear requests of your needs.

Take it from someone who thought there wasn’t someone out there for me. Get more comfortable saying yes to life. I’m very introverted and shied away from socializing. Some of the ladies at work invited me out to have dinner and to hang out . We became friends and it was one of those friends that introduced me to another coworker. He and i were friends a while but we eventually started to date and have been together for over 2 years, and he is wonderful. Just be open but be vigilant. Take things slow with a guy with the mindset that you are the one making sure he’s right for you, not the mindset that you hope he likes you and wanting it so much that you overlook red flags. But first comes working on expanding life and meeting new people.

At this time in my life, I'm in an amazing relationship with me.🎉Been married 20yrs first marriage.Divorced. 30 yrs second marriage.Died 4yrs ago. In an apartment very first time in my life just me and my God and my 🪴 🌿 🪴 plants. Take myself out to eat, movies, parties, walks, shopping, workouts without having to check in not that I ever minded that but a lot of firsts in my life right now. Learning spanish & ASL. So the right relationship woud be icing😮😊😅and nice but not necessary for me to be completely happy. That's my own responsibility. Watching you helps even better prepare me for a possible future long term completely committed relationship w/papers! Can't settle for less.❤🎉😊Thank you for all that you do Matt, please 🙏 ❤️ 😊 keep up the great work! Congratulations to you, Irene and your babies.🎉
