There's so many vids talking about 20 candles a day but I feel like closer to 15 is a much more reasonable number. I feel like it takes just as long to get those last 5 candles as the first 15 did. Unless you're counting seasonal candles, it's not worth it to shoot for 20, because if you spend too much time grinding you might get burned out and want to take a break, which hurts your candle count a lot more than missing out on 5 candles a day ^^

obviously if you're incredibly efficient that might not be accurate for you, everyone plays the game differently ^^ as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters!

I only farm like 10 candles a day lately, I used to play sky a lot 3 years ago where you still had to farm like the old way, it got very repetitive and boring and I stopped playing some times or didn’t candle run at all because it was just too time consuming. Now I only do forest till grandma event which gives around 8 candles, then I will get the candle cakes and the dailies so I will have 10 candles and it’s not that time consuming which is better for me. I really like that they added these events to make candle farming easier. I also feel like after you have no chevrons anymore it takes too long (for me) to get candles, so I stop at like 10 candles, sometimes I get more like 12 or something like that

Basically doing the same and advising new players to not overdo it themselves! PS: there's another shortcut to granny's table: fly up untill reaching the area reset barrier that teleports you instantly near the spot where sometimes we get a rainbow daily mission. Get some flight boost from the clouds bellow and try to fly over the first two doors. At the second one, try to land right before the door or the wind barrier will push you. Walk until you reach another reset barrier to the Forest Brook. Go right to the spiritual barrier that leads to the Elevated Clearing: 🎉 Wasting less time opening doors ~

A tip for the Harmony hall challenge, if you see the butterflies you can just leave the challenge (press the x at the top right corner) and you'll still get the same amount of wax! it helped me a lot especially when the music sheet is the one with the trumpet.. that sheet is quite long💀💀

I accidentally X the sheet but there is already a butterfly and gladly I did cause no one told me about that and just discovered it by myself now I don’t need to wait to finish the whole sheet 😂

Love this video! Heres a cr route i use to get no chevrons in under a hour Start at the geyser in Sanctuary, from :05 to :15. Then candlerun Sanctuary, takes 4 minutes. Warp home or use windpaths to get to forest; you should have time to CR all the way up to the temple. Drop by Grandma's house from :35 to :45, get back to Sanctuary to catch the turtle event. That should be just enough to burn all your chevrons in just under an hour (im not the original creator of this route)

I have a similar strategy, starting at :00 where I CR Sanctuary, then wait for the geyser event, :15-:30 i do dailies, then head to grandma's table using the treehouse. Then i go back to Sanctuary for the turtle event.

I have a similar route! Except I try to run sanctuary before geyser or when I'm late, during geyser. There's about a minute between each eruption, so you can use this time to fly away and pick up some wax rather than just standing around waiting. Just gotta master the art of returning right as the geyser erupts again lol. Also, I start in starlight desert, pick up the candle cake there and then use the portal to the wind paths (must have completed flight quests to be able to use them). Then I pick up the candle cake in the wind paths and go to sanctuary through wind paths. After geyser I run forest, maybe temple if I have the time / feel like it (those dang cutscenes!) and then off to grandma we go. Afterwards I pick up the 2 candle cakes in village of dreams and do the music challenge. Then dailies, and I'm done for the day. If I feel like it, I'll do something extra to get myself to 17-18 candles. But usually I stop at 15. Either trials with shortcuts, or run the candle cake realm. Unless they're in prairie because prairie doesn't have a lot of wax and it's all very spread out.. So I never candle run there.

i didn’t play sky for about two years now and oh my gosh i looooveeee discovering new shortcuts to convenuent areas! it’s like i hibernated and boom! teleportation

also remember to do what you think is fun so you wont get burned out from farming. i find the events like geyser a bit boring, so I'll only do them if i happen to stumble upon them. but i enjoy doing the music sheet, so i'll often go out of my way to go there, and there's 2 candle cakes in the area before the music hall wich is also nice.

Need to find someone to just drag me around and candle run for me lmao

heres what I do to get 18 candles in 1 hr and 30 minutes (in order): Geyser - Sanctuary - 8-Player Door - Granny- Turtle - Valley Skate Race - Dreams Area (no hermit)- Valley Temple - Challenge Music Sheet - Whole Vault - Rotating Candles in my case I use a lot of shortcuts so candle running doesn't take me long and i would do dailies in between those! or after the cr!

The auto burn trick in praire can also be done by just burning the plants from the temple, so after the third right one you can fly to the first left one and the plants and candles are already lit up even if you didn't light the candles up Plus sometimes even the 2 player door will be opened sometimes

I usually start at Island of Dawn, cuz that realm has 15 candle cakes. Then Valt of Knowledge, cuz the candle cakes are closer and easier to get. Continue at the realm with extra candles and finish the others. But it takes long time, 1-2h per day, wish I can play on 2 devices. Thank you anyway.

I usually run the realm that's involved in seasonal dailies or just dailies .. I watch the clock. I hit the next realm with the extra candles, then go to geyser, grandma's, to visit the turtle...it's so much faster now than it used to be! If I need more wax, I just play more, watch the clock, and repeat geyser, and grandma's. My candles go grey in no time.

And just to update, with the wind path you can go to the bear mountain (no remember his name xd) get the cake and do the activity that is on the top, u need other person to active it, then you go all the way down and then grab the cakes in the stairs and the lake and finally go and do the music sheet :) that what I do

I have a Sky friend, who, gets on Sky around the same time as me. I love it but I hate it. They’re a veteran and EXTREMELY good at Candle Runs, and they insist on coming with me to do daily quests (which understandably i am pretty much not allowed to lead). I usually get on a few minutes after I wake up, as I am pretty tense in the morning, so I use it to relax, which I prefer to do alone. First time this happened, we were doing the Vortex quest. I had finished, and was ready to head home, so I said “Home?” To which they replied “No, cr”. I pretty much *wanted to lose it* but went through with it, anyway. They did it at sonic-speed, and, now, I make sure to get all the light I can there when I do the quest.. At my own pace. Let’s skip to when we finish the rest of the quests. We’re at home, and, they say “Where to now?”. I’m pretty sure I lost a braincell trying to understand what they meant. Guess what? *CANDLE RUN IN THE VAULT.* after that, i finally claim my candles. Went from about 13 candles to 21 I think? I’m pretty sure I just sat there shocked. anyway, pay attention to this video so you don’t have to worry about your veteran friend kidnapping you

CR route 1 Sanctuary geyser and full 2 Forest half run and grandma 3 Candle boosted realms 4 Quest 5 Chill 6 Chill 7 Chill 8 Chill 9 Chill.... And so on...

I usually aim for 10-14 candles per day, i do the current candle cake realm, vault of knowledge and sanctuary, if im not too tired i also do a bit of other realms

For like 15-17 per day I just do the candle boosted realm > valley of triumph race (the flying race has more wax because of the candles in the citadel and the ones in the hall b4 the race tho) > village of dreams (2 candle cakes + music sheet challenge ) > hermit valley (1 candle cake + race) > vault of knowledge ( 7 candle cakes if you can open the four player doors, otherwise 5) > sanctuary island (3 candle cakes + geyser) > isle of dawn (if I feel like it). It doesn't have to be in that order that's just how I do it.

I do all of that everyday! But still thanks for the Tips this would be helpful to everyone 🥰

This game is just so fun and also looks really cute

Last year I once CR for 3 months without unlocking stuff everytime (even tho my main goal was having all constellations at 100%), just 15 candles +/- per day, that means 1350 saved candles +/- depending on how much you share hearts or unlock stuff even from TS, because mostly i didnt like the cosmetics so I kinda save a lot... Nowadays i have 100% my constellation and i dont come under 1500 candles as minimum. Months ago i was like 2300 (trying to reach my next goal, to have 2500c) but the new dynamic of bringing 4 TS + the regular TS is really candle consumer 😵. But its possible to get that amount 9f candles guys, just be patient and be perseverant, if you dont get a TS dont worry, it will return anytime, and the constelllations will be there always 💪.

Here’s how I do my cr! I forgot how much you get, but definitely over 10. 15-20 maybe? Full Isle of Dawn -> Cave of Prophecies and Trial of Air -> Prairie with 8 player door -> Just graze over Sanctuary. That should give you a good amount! And if you really feel like it; Geyser once and Grandma twice. Turtle if you feel like it.

me and my friends get around 20 candles a day, (well we did, they don't play much anymore) and it used to take so long. sometimes it would only take about an hour but other times it took upwards of around 3 hours. they both have android phones, though so recently they just got cheats that teleport them to the next candle lol

I do geyser at 2am then grannys, daily tasks, then valley of triumph, then back to geyser and grannys and do rainforest complete. 20-21 a day but it takes work to squeeze the last 5 out but worth it.

I've question, when the daily light comes it looks more brighter more big but when do the dailes after some that light fade to nothing I can't even see that there light is or not, main point is., I ones get the 4 treasure candles and those 4 candles can not even forged one regular candle, so my question is there time period or something that at start u get more wax from candles or plants......................?????¿?¿¿¿¿¿???¿??¿?

what happens is each time u loose a "chevron" the wax will get smaller to kinda indicate it will give a tiny amount ig ?? i advise maybe doing realms with plants first so ur able to see the wax better !

coming back to sky as a season of dreams moth that left on the tail end of season of flight is wack..... literally feels like nothing and everything has changed, the grind is still there but i missed like 9 seasons LMAO

Wax isn't necessarily "used", it's collected! You collect wax by lighting candles and burning dark plants found across realms. Once you've collected enough wax, you can forge a candle! Candles are one of the main currencies in the game, used to buy various cosmetics from spirits and unlocking emotes/expressions with friends!

uhh pretty sure the last 10 minutes of the same hours geyser happens in

my tip is that you will make a goal, when your at 0, you will make a goal till you reach 3-5 candles, if you reach 5, you will make a goal till u reach 8-10. It will help u stay motivated

When I saw 43 I was like "isn't that many tho" (I have like 5 or less..)
