Updated checklist of lifestyle tips from this video & my skin routine: • How To Get Clear Skin/...
My full routine (talk through): • My Full Evening Skin C...
This is a video for 'Acne Awareness Month' with some of my best tips for clearing up your spots/acne and will hopefully be helpful for people of all ages who are dealing with various levels of acne! I talk about water, sleep, hygiene, exercise, stress management, food and supplements to help you to get clear, glowing skin!
I dealt with acne for years and years and finally am free of it, thanks to being consistent with the topics discussed in the video above. It feels amazing to be able to rub my face and feel no lumps and bumps, and this involves NO doctor's bills, NO expensive treatments...it is cheap and easy to get the skin that you want, all you have to do is educate yourself on the information I've shared. It is a miracle and I only wish I'd known all of this when I was a young teenager, crying every time I saw my red, cystic skin in the mirror!
I had hormonal acne all over my cheeks and jawline, but when I was really young it covered every inch of my face! I do still have scars and hyper-pigmentation, but the important part is that the ACNE is GONE :)
Please like and comment if you'd like any other acne videos, such as my skin care routine, my acne story, an acne makeup transformation etc etc! Also, look out later this evening on my blog for a more detailed post on this topic :)
Thanks for watching guys, love Mel xx

above the sky At times, me too, but then I realize I wouldn't be the person I am today without my acne. My experiences with acne kind of shaped me, experiencing people's hatred and rudeness on my own skin(no pun haha). It made me stronger and immune to this shallow world, and also realize I don't want to be like them... so acne is bad for your image but good for the soul

I have had acne for over ten years and I thought that I had to live with it for the rest of my life. Last month I went vegan after watching videos of the cruelty of meat, egg, fish and dairy industries as welk as leather, down and cosmetic companies. I didn't go vegan to clear up my acne, but even after a week I noticed that my skin was not producing any new acne. It has now been a month and apart from my acne scars and blackheads, I have clear skin. I nevet thought that I could cure it, and now I am nearly twenty years old and finally no longer trapped by my acne. I used to love yoghurt, cereal with milk, and cheese, but after seeing how much cruelty goes into making the products I have no desire to est it, and they are not good for your health either. Thr dairy industries put a lot of money into advertising and making us think that milk is good for us, but in fact the human body does not need the milk of another animal. I hope that someone who reads this will give up dairy for a week and see what happens, because it could wotk for you as well. I certainly wish I had connected dairy with acne, but I always assumed it was oils or sugar. I also recommend cutting out products that contain milk like cake, chocolate, bread and even pizza bases, because they might have dried milk in them. Best of luck x

I am so thankful that you took the time to watch and leave me a message Hayley, thank you! :) You sound like you're exactly like me & if so, 1 thing I'll say is try as hard as possible not to stress about it, as the stress releases hormones that ALWAYS make acne worse in acne sufferers; they stress about their skin so it is a cycle! I wont lie, it took months, but most treatments from the dermatologist take the same time! If you are intolerant to dairy or wheat & cut them down it'll work fast x

I'm really glad you made this video! I've known for a long time about these things like greasy hair, washing pillows, brushes, drinking water, avoiding sugar, eating nutrient based foods etc, even though some people say it has no effect, especially food, it truly does. I live by these rules and my skin is better, it's not fully clear as I stress out a lot and have hormone issues, but it's miles better than it was when I didn't pay attention to these things. I know when I have eaten something bad for me as my face tingles and gets itchy, so I know it's something to avoid. Butter, milk, cheese, dairy milk, crisps, haribo, gummy sweets and things like that I always have to avoid or my face breaks out awful!

Hi, Samantha! I'm really sorry to hear about that! I've had similar experiences before with doctors and pills...some of them help temporarily but then give me bad side effects and when I came off them my skin would get bad again...I also suffer from little blocked pores sometimes and I find that certain face masks are really good for clearing them out, like the peel-off, and then also, honey/cinnamon/olive oil on my face twice a week and LOTS of water, water pushes this stuff out!

Greetings to all people who have difficult time with acne. I am 21 years old, and since I entered puberty, I suddenly got horrendous acne on my face and body. I tried every cure for acne on market but it was not good at all. I even tried every possible diet but in the end it only got worse and I ended up with additional health problems. My last hope was to try special laser treatments and when that failed too, it seemed there is no hope for me. Then I run across this site. It’s name is: *CleanFaceFast . com* It was awesome, and advices from this site helped me to beat acne! After only 7 days I got first positive results and after less than 8 weeks my skin was perfectly healthy. All this thanks to what I learned from this site.

+Martha Allen I must agree with your suggestion. My best friend recommended to me this webpage two months ago. Since I started with this method, I lost around 30 pounds. As a bonus, I don’t feel yo-yo effect, so I can vouch for this one.

I used to do that too and it made my skin so, soooo much worse :( Became dry/peely/flaky! And removing the oil caused my skin to produce more oil so MORE spots! Beauty gurus on KZread like Michelle Phan always suggested even avoiding washing in the morning, just in the evening, and using a warm cloth to dab away excess oil in the morning instead before moisturizer etc! x

Such a lovely compliment thank you so much! :O x I have that planned on my list of to-do videos, however in the meantime I'll refer you to my recent Vichy BB Cream video from a few days ago in which I talk about my current skincare routine (the one I used to get rid of my spots!) and I used those products in conjunction with coconut oil to remove makeup (I've a video on that also!) + the St. Ives blemish scrub, Effaclar Duo treatment by La Roche Posay plus the odd bit of Sudocrem ;) x

I believe you're not from the States (which makes it harder), but me neither and I consider investing into international delivery of it because I hear how good it is. Your channel is a god send... I just watched your 3 step tutorial on makeup coverage because after years of dealing with acne... which I, too, have the oh so fantastic hormonal acne on my jawline & cheeks, I end up being a cake face! I actually wrote down all the different makeup products you used in the tutorial to go pick up some tomorrow, as well as some new brushes. However, The 1 HUGE problem I have is finding the right shade of color for my skin tone! For some reason I seem to fall into an in between color. I'm definitely fair skinned & on the cooler side as opposed to warm, but they're either too white or they show up too orangey. It's just very frustrating! I'm 31 for Gods sake! I have, like you, been through the gammet of creams, lotions, pills, etc such as: a round of accutane, as well as clindamycin, Retin-A, proactiv & other benzoyl peroxide and/or salicylc acid products... I even bought an acid peel kit! But I still have acne. I'm at the end of my rope with this! I'm actually having a professional facial done centered around acne. Obviously, I'm sick of the ugly skin, but the pain from these pimples is awful! ;( Another person commented about Epiduo... it's a new prescription cream for Acne. I'm from a suburb of Philadelphia in the US & with all the Drs & products you'd think something would work for us combo skinned hormonal acne sufferers! You know?! Thank again! :-) I look forward to having beautiful, painless, acne free skin like you! :-)

Patrick calm down all that stress is probably half to blame for your skin issues in the first place :-/ As I said in this (short!) video, you need to balance your hormones through the lifestyle changes & other things mentioned CONSISTENTLY over time and your skin will heal. Being impatient and hating on yourself will just make it worse, that pumps adrenaline etc through your body...not good! Stress managements and being positive are one of the tips!

Aside from the fact that I enjoyed listening to your cute accent, your video really inspires me a lot! It's been more than a year now since I got this acne problem. Even my friends are surprised as to what happened to my face. Well maybe my long-time ex-boyfriend has something to do with it (coz he seriously broke my heart..haha), you know, I got depressed, stressed and all. Just like what you said - stress, mood swings, hormonal imbalance - oh man! name it, I have it! Anyways, seeing your videos really caught my attention and wanted to really change my outlook in life - that there's hope amidst everything and just be positive. You're right that it has something to do with our lifestyle and we just have to choose what's best for ourselves. Everybody's asking me to have a facial treatment but I'm actually not into it. As much as possible I wanted to lose those acne bumps in a natural way - not using expensive treatments and products. So there. Keep it up! One subscriber here for you. :)

Thank you soo much for this video. Without watching your video i have been following the same steps , well , almost the same steps of this video. I have suffered of acne for many years , and switching to a more healthy lifestyle and drinking plenty of water and green tea has changed my life completely since I've been struggeling with acne for many years. Thanks to this video I know now I'm doing the right thing and can see that defenitly on my skin since it is completely clear. 1 thing I do differently is drinking a glass of water with one table spoon of apple cider vinegar every morning, and also I have put some in a little spray container and spray it on my face everynight let it dry and then put some benzoyl peroxide moisterizer on and go to bed. Once more thank you sooo much.

Year round, I walk minimum of 30 minutes a day, then I go through 'phases' with various different routines...I like to incorporate one or two jogs per week, and on other days I'll do workouts in my room such as jumping on my mini trampoline (SO much fun!) or doing toneitup workouts or blogilates workouts from here on KZread. Last winter I did the 30 day shred and this winter (just started yesterday) I'm starting '6 week 6 pack' by Jillian Michaels :)

This is a fantastic video. As a sophomore in high school I hate going to school without makeup and I always feel insecure around my friends. My boyfriend will get one or two little zits and complain about having a breakout while my face is just completely broken out all the time. I've tried everything out there plus I keep a balanced diet and stay away from junk food and don't drink soda, but I just cant seem to find one thing that will make these pesky pimples go away. Seeing someone who is comfortable in their own skin after suffering from acne for so long really gives me hope. You're skin is radiant! And I had no idea July was acne awareness month! Thanks for the video, it was really helpful, and I cant wait to try some crazy homemade acne remedy masks (:

Wow! These are really good tips! I definitely need to eat more fruit. I do eat my veggies usually at dinner, but I eat way too little fruit. I also need to change my pillow cover more often. My water intake seems fine and I do not wear make-up (at least no foundation or concealer stuff). I also see more breakouts when I am getting my period. Yay. Also, I'm 15, so in the middle of puberty. I now have a consistent skin care routine. In the morning and evening I'll wash my face using the Body Shop Tea Tree face wash and then I'll put on Benzoylperoxide Hydrogel (which dries out massively... But if I put it on very locally, it's fine, since my skin is superduper oily.) and some cream by a local pharmacy (which works fine!). I scrub about once or twice a week. This works fine for me. My acne used to be much worse. Now, my face is mostly covered in purple scars around my chin (the ones on my forehead and around my nose have mostly cleared up) and I get underskin pimples (OUCH!) and ugly big fat red spots with gross white heads sometimes. I've literally tried nearly everything in the Dutch pharmacies (from cheap to expensive) and only now I've found products that work. I've had acne since I was 10 or 11 and when I found something that worked, my skin would be a little clearer for a bit, but then I'd get immune??!?!?! It sucked. But Tea Tree helps so much! It's great! But yeah, I can improve on hygiene and diet... :) Also just for personal health and not even so much for the acne.
