8 mins in and feeling nostalgic, I never thought listening to blink, sum 41 or any of these bands I would ever feel old… I’m 34 and I wish I could go back to no Facebook or twitter and have MSN messenger after school after the dial up if no one was using the house phone and actually go out skating with my mates and having some sneaky beers

@@jakeknapp6833nah not really, if your talking about the early 2000s Blink-182 sound it mostly came from the SoCal skate punk sound that exploded in the 90’s, just check out bands like Screeching Weasel, millencolin, nofx who are all known for their fast, hooky and melodic style of punk rock. Oh and you can’t forget about the ramones and how much they influenced these pop punk bands!

LOVE your channel and PUNK in general! Everything from 90s skate punk like NOFX, Lagwagon, Face To Face to Pop-Punk and Emo. It is all great and I still listen to it all to this day!

I would add to this list the Boss ST-2 Power Stack pedal. This Boss pedal mimics a Marshall stack amp and gives you a perfect 90s/00s pop punk sound!

As weird as it sounds the Mesa Boogie Rectifiers are really suited for pop punk! 😎🤘

The gear an options for younger kids today is soooooooo much better than what was avaliable 30 years ago, even 15 years! If you're turning down volume on your guitar to reduce the gain, and you bring it back with the compressor - aren't you just driving the amp again? Or is it set to a volume as not to drive the amp, but simply to even out your quiet playing? Great demo!

no matter whats gear , everything in dagan's hand ,always sound great, never disappointed you, even sometime play those short scale toy looking guitar, still make it work and sound good.

What settings would you recommend me to use on a Marshall MG30DFX + Mesa Boogie Throttle Box pedal?

Green Day gets a lot more clarity because they're not that distorted to begin with. Billie Joe doesn't use more than a Blues Driver, as shown on the Rig Rundown video. Doesn't go as extreme as a DS-1 or similar.

I own the katana 100 mk2 head , i want to try some kind of pre amp pedal with valve . Could give it a punch to the sound!
