Hey bud, I'm a huge korn fan. Here is a tip for that new KoRn sound that your tryi ng to get is to not use the big muff. They use a Whammy xp 100 and use the pre set 21. Now if you want use software, try using an octave which layers an octave low on the original note. When you do that, play that using 1 note(s)

Maybe a Counterparts or Defeater type tone? Defeater has that sort of low gain yet aggressive sound going on and Counterparts always has a solid character behind the tone that I can't seem to match

NOOO, i dreaded that request XP i tried it and it´s super duper hard. i´ve gotten kind of close with the basic setup i show in the Audioslave / Killswitch Engage episode (Pro Co Rat, Dual Rec, Mesa cab), but i´ve never gotten anywhere near close enough for a tutorial. that crazy smudgy gnarly barking mid range focus is just impossible to recreate. it´s also super hard to tell what the upper range sounds like because it´s so pronounced on the mids, and yet it´s not muffled or anything. and on top of that they use two completely different setups for the left and right guitar which makes it even more difficult to replicate that sound in one tone. sorry, i don´t think that episode will ever happen T_T
