Thanks for this concise video. I was able to repair our GE oven and save hundreds of $$$. Our oven wasn't exactly like this but was very close. The idea of taking off the oven door made working on the oven so much easier. Thanks again!

Saved me over 300$. Piece was 35 and about 1/2 hour of labor. Thank you! 🙏🏻 Have you found that the replacement ignitor does t fit the nuts already in place. Even in the exact copy? Will the holes shrink a bit after it heats up for a while?

As long as the part is the correct one for the model number of your unit then the part should work for your unit.

Thanks for the video but just one question why do you have to turn the gas off? Can you replace without doing so?

We advise safety first. Also suggest to make sure the gas and power is turned off before messing with your appliance.
