Tools: 5/8" open-ended wrench, 5/16" nut driver, Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver.
This GE made Dishwasher Flood Switch replaces the following older part numbers on General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, Sears, and Kenmore Dishwashers: 4587224.

Thanks for your videos, Replacing this switch would fix the dishwasher issue of not filling? Also any way how can we test whether the old switch is faulty ?

If you have a multimeter you can test it for continuity. You may also have an issue with the water valve itself if the machine isn't filling up with water.
