Thank God I will buy some for myself
i got a drone like 3 years ago & i took it for one test flight & got it caught in a swingset. Ever since then I've had Drone Anxiety & have been too afraid to fly it again. Now it's just an expensive paper weight. I think this video has given me the confidence to give her another go. Thanks!👌

Glad to hear. Good luck.
I like the way you recommend practicing. Circles, banking, back and forth. Thank you for the fun video.
nice advice for an old 70 year old like me
Hi I just got this drone 2 days ago for Christmas and it’s works great but I keep hitting walls or hitting the ceiling and this tutorial helped me a lot so thank you so much for teaching me to fly a drone.
Best teacher! Old is Gold.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
Thanks for the training.
Thanks!! It's a start!
I enjoyed this video!

thx
This is a great video for first time flyers
Nice video 👍🎉
Personal opinion here: I think that flying quadcopters / drones is more fun than flying helis or fixed-wing aircraft. :-)

Make sure you check out the Jetson One and the BlackFly manned drones. Sized for adult flying. Time to move forward with the hobby.

Thank you so much ;) you too ;)
Is there a way to get extra batteries for the drones? It's kinda sad to take a 30 min drive to fly a drone for 15 min (only open space is about 30 min from where I live). I'd love to have like 10 batteries charged and swap out while trying my drone out.
I thought I just wasn't good at hoovering in place but now I understand my drone doesn't have gps so thanks for that 🙏

You're welcome. A gps drone is a little more, but worth the price. A good GPS drone can cost a little over 200 dollars. To see an example of a good GPS , check out this other video and watch it starting at 3:00. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ooSByKyNYrqcqLA.html

If everything is setup correctly, you should be able to hover without gps, just takes some practice, hovering is actually one of the hardest skills to get good at. And some drones are more stable than others.

@@John_Doe_6996 Ah thanks for that. In that case, with my next drone (my first quadcopter ever got taken away by wind), I'll try to master hoovering before I do much else.

@@yaynative I recommend practicing in a Sim until you can at least fly with control and confidence in what you’re doing. Then maybe get a kids drone to practice for real, then move up to a custom built drone or BNF drone. Freestyle/Racing, and cinematic drones can be a lot of fun, but they’re fast and unforgiving. Edit: and if you get an adult drone, Make absolutely sure that everything is set correctly in beta flight, and your radio before you fly, otherwise your controls may not be what you expected… for example the throttle might be the yaw, and roll might be pitch, etc…. Which will lead to a crash or lost drone. But if everything is right, they tend to fly very well.

@@John_Doe_6996 So a simulator with something like a PlayStation controller? Any recommendations for a simulator for Windows or Android?

Different brands have different results.
You can put those camera drones in a dragon kite and show up to the next DragonForce concert and sell them to them.
I got my new drone y-series I take it for a flight test and I crash it into a wall but the drone was fine but not the propellers and I was afraid that I might broke it and it's giving me anxiety

My drone makes me do auto take off but when it does it just goes up really high and flies away. It won’t stay in place or go down

Welcome to the club. That is normal for all off us. It takes practice. However, it also depends on the drone. Cheap drones will have problems. Next try a DJI drone and you will experience a much better flight and hover.
@jameandthegiantpeach2273

...the aeronautics 45$ drone and other cheap drones have automatic hovering, I recommend it for beginners, you just press the lift off button and it takes off and hovers about head level to you, and when you want to go higher or lower you just press up or down and the drone immediately hovers where you want it, some drones don't have hovering and can be difficult to hover manually, especially speed drones, but with practice, you can fly it around rapidly without a complete steady hover, just remember to keep reducing and adding height to keep it from floating off too high or too low while you fly it around, a little practice each day or every other day will make you an expert in no time, keep up the hobby though 👍

If it's new, I"d return it. I've found many times it's the battery. Other times the circuitry goes bad. Good luck TD
Ok.OK.. so I messed up. I bought a drone, of course I haven't a clue how to use it. Hell I don't even know what button is what. The thing doesn't come with ANY instructions. The box doesn't even have a brand or model number. Just says Quadcopter drone. One camera. I saw a video to let me know where the battery is. Think I know the front from back, if that matters, but haven't any other knowledge. I messed up cause you say I need that GPS button. This does not have it. Only has an arrow up, and arrow down buttons beside the joy sticks on each side. If I turn this thing on, is going to fly off to never never land? What buttons should I start to play with? Guessing I will have to charge up that battery. I see the controller takes 3 AA's. The front has a computer looking button, a high/low button on one side, and a gyro button , and a 360° button. Do I need to touch those? Where do I start...
