I’ve never seen any of your HOW-TOs before but I’m quite impressed and looking forward to building my own. The only thing I’m unsure of is the plastic material you used to make the handle if you could clarify that for me it would be wonderful !!!! Everything else was quite clear thank you for such a concise easy to follow solution to a problem I have been having for quite some time. I subscribed to your page and I’m looking forward to viewing the rest of your tutorials

It's just called a "sign holder" on Amazon, I think it's just made of a thinner acrylic than the first Acrylic sheet I used! I had it lying around at the time, but I think I bought it on Amazon for my booth back in the day! Something like this: www.amazon.com/SourceOne-Slant-Back-Sign-Holder-Portrait-Style/dp/B007TK567Q/ref=br_lf_m_zy6n89po6jg69ur_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&s=office-products

That orb is great... but damn, that make up is insane! GG 👍👍👍
Love the way you use everyday materials and integrate them into cosplay or props then show to us how it's done in simple way, you are like a magician exposing the tricks
You're really good at explaining everything in detail, quite helpful.
Amazing effect! Those tubes had me sweating in fear. I would have ended up with purple all over me and my kitchen, with an accidental swish. The cosplay makeup looks awesome! Can't wait.

Man your outfit is awesome...your project was really cool too!
The moment I started this video I was startled by how comic-book-character-y you looked, like major kudos to you on that. Also your makeup is *gorgeous* and on _fleek_ !!!
One of the best cosplays artists I ever seen ! Borderlands 2 Maya is just perfect Hendo and this orb too just awesome I love ya !
It could also be useful for Ahri from LoL
My favorite character from the Borderlands series is Maya, so this is really cool to me. You did an amazing job.
A MAGICAL. FLOATING. ORB.
Another comprehensive build Hendo 💜
Thank you, for you have blessed us with this amazingness. I love this tutorial.

I wish I would have seen this video when I made my Kamehameha wave power ball I already did the steps you suggested except I couldn't figure out how to make it "float" now I do because of you thank you I wish I could send you a pic or two of what I've done
This would work great for Ahri
Can't wait to use this for my k/da ahri cosplay
Awesome
You are talented. I'm going to try to make one of those. My mom even thinks you're talented
Great effect. Only thing I can really criticize is using the same soldering tip for both melting the plastic as well as soldering the circuit. For circuits you would remove/cover the tinning on the tip that helps transfer the heat to easily solder your circuits. Tips for soldering irons are pretty cheap; just let it cool before changing.
@HendoArt
6 жыл бұрын
Jeremie Santos Def a fair point! In the future I'd prefer to just have two soldering irons!
Now I can finally try to finish my bakugou cosplay! I’ll just change the colours to orange, yellow and grey
Would be awesome to see you as Li-MIng from Heroes of the Storm using this method, that would look amazing!!

This is great, thank you. I'm planning a Raven cosplay, do you have any recommendations what material to put on the outside for a sort of gas magic look? (I don't know how to describe it)
love the video, I am in the process of making Ermac from Mortal Kombat X but having a hard time trying to figure our how to make the to green flickering soul orbs that he has in his hand. I would like to know what would be the best way to go a by to make them.

I'd like to see you make Nightwing's escrima sticks
This would be so cool for Morgana/sybdra or prettymuch anyone from League

This is a great video! If we do the tightbundle option without making a new switch do you have any tips for preventing the battery pack from casting a shadow from within?
@HendoArt
Жыл бұрын
Best I could come up with was wrapping the battery case in reflective tape 🤔 might help to elevate it with something clear, so light reaches under the battery case too
I want to do this but change it up a little for an explosion for a Bakugo Katsuki cosplay :0
Hendo Art Do you have any suggestions on what to do if I wanted to do something like this but more like boomerang like shape? I am cosplaying Jinx from teen titans and wanted to do the beams that she shoots to give people bad luck.
Red lights and it’s kinda like Wanda maximoff
Yo Hendo, have you ever think about making a Q and A video?
is it okay and safe it wont blow up.or anyting also id love to het one but how much is it to buy one hand made
Are you ever think to do collab ? With Madeyewlook for example ? It Can be LEGENDARY 😆. And this orb is absolutely beautiful

How would I get the same kind of plastic she used to hold up the orb?
Could you do this with repelling magnets?
How much dye did you use?
Where did you get the clear orb?
I look at you with that orb and I see an Android 22 (pink) cosplay.
yooooo! this would be perfect for naruto's rasengan!!!

how much money is this total?? im thinking of doing a wanda / scarlet witch costume so this'll really help! :)
My ermac cosplay say it Thx.
I made my orbs a few weeks back but the only problem was getting them to stand up. I also used a sign display bc it looked like the strongest plastic but it keeps falling over. I dont even have extra weight on my orbs -- it's just the ball -- and it keeps falling over 😭
Hey Hendo can you make Bakugo's sparks? I've been trying to make it but fail.

OMG!!! So hot
I've seen by best friend create a ball of visible air with his bare hands. He would throw it against the wall and it would explode in every direction. There was 4 other witnesses. He did it about 50 times. He did it so many times that we got bored with it. We were tripping on magic mushrooms but there was 4 other people so it's not just me. It was about 20 years ago. I dont know how he did it but he did. He doesn't know how he did it either. There's no such thing as a group hallucination. Believe it or not. I know that stuff is real.
It's fine, I'm not biter... Lol

@@HendoArt dollar store tea light, cotton batting, the dollar store snow globes, craft paint, modge podge, and scrap plastic. Done. In fact, I have done something similar, but it was a staff topper, that appeared to float
@HendoArt
2 жыл бұрын
@@jendubay3782 Tea lights are far too dim to show up on camera or outside in daylight. Cotton batting with my lights would be fine but batting tends to obscure light too much (I'd recommend tulle). As well, the painting method is meant to match Bordlands' art style. Tubing orbits I assume are something you'd accomplish with a similar product (essential to Maya's orb). "Spare plastic" would still be en expense to anyone without it, and acrylic has the best blend of heat-shapeable and sturdy. And like I state on the video, you can still have the switch inside the orb, but it's it's terrible pain to turn on and off at conventions, and melting takes like 2 mins. Your method is quite popular on countless other casual tutorials though, I'd imagine everyone who watched this video has seen that method before 😅. This one is for the cosplay community ✌
