Make sure to pay attention to the intake gaskets and plastic insulator because of they are not fully sealed the snow blower will not run right because of this air leak
We go through the full repair process and show each step to ensure you can get your snowblower back running again.
Normal symptoms of this problem are unit won't start, snowblower won't stay running, starts but dies when you take it off choke, leaks gas, or one that surges or dies when put under a load.
They all come back to the same issue and repair process!
Always check the oil level before starting. Sometimes fuel can be mixed into the crankcase which will cause major issues if started like this.
You carburetor part number is LCT 03121 on this LCT PW2HK10650178EABGOQUVE1M Engine
This carburetor can be purchased at amzn.to/47LNTxm
If you replace the carburetor, be sure to check and clean the new carburetor because the quality control is not good. This does not matter if you are using OEM or aftermarket replacement. They should both be checked before installing. See our video on this also!

Ethanol is the main enemy but starting with a higher octane will help slightly. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video. Really easy to do. Great move just replacing the carb and really good call on the Honda gasket. As in your shot my gaskets were also brittle. Probably saved me a couple hundred bucks trying to bring it some where to be repaired. Would never start with the pull now first shot every time. Thanks again.

A lot of great information. Wish I had warm shop. It’s 25 to 35 now. So easy to forget and not inspect new carb. Take care

It has been extremely cold for the last few days here also! Had a truck mount generator to work on a couple days ago and couldn't do more than a half hour at a time outside with the 10 degree temperatures and wind. I almost forgot what it was like working out in the cold as it has been years since working on grain bins and doing service calls that I had to do that type of thing. It's not easy! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video and thorough explanation. Question: I have a 2010 CCR 2450. What would cause a bit of oil spitting from its muffler? Worn-out oil rings? Thanks in advance for your helpful advice.

Carburetor needle stuck flooding unit with gas/oil mix,, too much oil in mixture or worn out rings. There is not a whole lot that can happen to these two cycle engines to cause this.
