Super thanks, saved my nuki!! ;) I had a motor error 0x07 and I was followed dissasembly / reassembly, found browken wire and managed to solder it to the motor again. Thanks again ;)

Thank you for the patient and in-depth video. Great job! The right to repair and "fixability" of products are still in their infancy. Such parts should be mounted to replace them more easily. How many V1 Locks will die in the next years? Business model?

Hi Santa, Thank you very much! You are absolute right, but I think it is just a design flaw in this case. Unfortunately this issue happens with V1 and V2. I am not sure about V3, had not my hand on these yet.

Many thanks for this tutorial! Just fixed my Nuki V2 (yellow cable was broken). V2 is a little bit different in the lifting mechanism.

Mhhh, as you can see in my video, it is highly likely due to a failed motor that handles the clutch. You should disassemble it and check if the little motor is still working. If not, you need to replace it. Links in the description.

Hi again! I was watching the video and 21'40" you show a ring "not original". I cannot find the original one, and when I open the nuki I don't think I lose anything...but the same... could you tell me the measure of the ring? thanks a lot!!!

Hi! Do you mean the spring? I just used one I had lying around. I would encourage you to buy some assortments of springs and try them. I cannot remeasure it because I gave the Lock to a good friend of mine. Keep me posted!

Congratulation, great job one question does exist the possibility command directly (close contact, for example or send tension) the nuki through wire connection without Blue tooth command / wifi ? thanks

I have a very similar problem with my nuki (1. gen), but sometimes it works again, sometimes it stuck connected and sometimes it stuck disconnected. Did you have similar symptoms before the final failure? Or is there a possibility for a loose contact?

Hi Thomas, maybe the motor is just half way working. I would recommend to swap it, those are failing soooooo often. It is really such a shame. :-/ Merry Christmas! 🎄

I have a Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 and tried to disassemble it because of the same issue. Anyways, I have a spring and have no clue where it belongs to. It is bigger than in this video. Does anyone know where I have to put it in?

The mechanism of the 2.0 version is indeed different from this one. I encourage you to fiddle around with it. It becomes more logical after some time. 😉

I just bought Nuki Pro and It get stuck several times and after I did fine tuning in "optimize tuning" it released. Is some bug or I need to change the device by warranty ?

Dear Markus, thank you very much for your reply. Basically it was making a short noise and showed no movement. In honesty, Nuki was awesome as they replaced the lock even though was off warranty. In the Nuki app was showing the so called 4A error and Nuki said that it was not fixable (at least not without a technical intervention that the one you made). Based on that, I was wondering if it was not the case of just the main power motor being cooked. If you have an idea of the type of motor I can try and switch it to, I would maybe try and do a repair. Thank you.

@DavidLourenco500 Hi David, that's really considerate of them! Do you have a Multimeter? If you do, you could use it in ohms mode to see what reading you get from the motor. You might also try applying a low voltage, about 1.5V, to see if it shows any sign of life.

Thank you I ordered the motor from your link and installed it thanks to your instructions a big thank you I have the Nuki version 2.0 the replacement motor fits perfectly with the original the only difference is it has a different direction of rotation so I had to swap plus and minus then it worked functions

Addendum: 5:58 When it shows a dead short, it is of course also broken!

Maybe you can help me. I have a Nuki 2.0 and I can't manage to put the second motor, which moves the gears via the lever, in the right position. I always get the error message (0x4 battery) when calibrating. In which position must be the lever to the gear. Have already tried everything.

@@DanielWyschka Hi, sorry to hear that. I found out some of my gear was sheared off, so no repair was possible. I sold mine as damaged. :(
