Thank you, you just saved my life. I got my charger case a bit wet by accident and I thought it had died. I left it to dry and this morning I was hopelessly looking for a solution to this and you told me what to do.

Mine will not reset at all...if I push the 1 button or the 2. It was working on the way to niagra falls...as soon as I parked when I got there.. it never connected again. I had it plugged in over night... nothing

Same thing happened to me. Did exactly what you did and the case became responsive, however now it's not charging. The case won't charge when plugged in, and the camera won't charge inside the case, because the case has now ran out of battery. Any ideeas?

Check the connectors and make sure they are clean.

@@UltimateDIY It’s the charging case that is not charging! The case charges through USB-C! I didd try multiple cables including insta360 original ones with the appropriate charger! Meanwhile I devised a way to charge the camera directly but the case is dead!

@meanmachinesrcclub that usb port can also have something preventing contact. Also, try to leave it connected to a charger for several hours. It might have gotten overdischarged.

@@UltimateDIY I have left it for seceral hours to no avail! I took the case apart and cleaned the port tge beat I could! For sure it wasn’t an over discharge problem because, what happened was that the case was dead, unresponsive, then I reset it (holding the mode button for 7secs+), then it worked and had 3/4 battery, it did charge the camera, until depleated, then I used the camera within that day, then when I plugged in the cade to recharge it, it wouldn’t charge!

Try to let the camera charging for a few hours. Even try different power adapters. For example I have a brand new fancy one, that this camera just refuses to charge with.

mine has the same problem now ... 😢
