How to Fix the Night Vision On Any Baby Monitor
This fix works for all baby monitor brands that use IR or Infared Light for their night vision capability like Infant Optics, Motorola, VTech, Owlet, Victure, Babysense, Hello Baby, HeimVision and more.

Are infrared lights safe for your baby's eyes?
The paperwork that came with the light says the energy emitted by IR illuminators resides outside the visible red section of the electromagnetic spectrum and is totally safe with a wavelength of 700nm to 1 mm. This illuminator operates at approximately 850 nm.

Thank you for posting this! I had the same problem with the night vision on baby monitor. I did find another KZread video that had me shine a light (phone flashlight) in the camera for 40 secs. It reset the cameras night mode and now works again! Hopes this gives people another option! 🙏🏽

your monitor screen itself keeps flashing on and off or just the night vision aka built in infrared lights?

@@MarshallBLewis the night vision keeps coming on and off. Our screen will be on, I can see the battery/temp/ect but it flicks on and off night vision. Some times I can move the camera to point at the curling light and the night vision comes on and I move it down and it cuts off again to a black room. Lighting has not changed in the room for over a year

@@nicolereadstarot a couple thoughts 1) the infrared "night vision" lights on the outside of the camera unit are automatic meaning they come on when it's dark in the room and stay off when it's light. If they are flashing maybe it's in between totally dark and totally light so they are confused whether to turn on or stay off. Try making the room completely dark and see if they come on and stay on 2) if the flashing continues even with the room completely dark then you have a faulty infrared light system like our camera unit did and so we bought a separate infrared light (the whole reason I made this video)
What if you can't get the color to stay on? Mine is always in black and white even when its light in the room.

My guess is that it's a hardware issue i.e. your monitor / camera is having issues. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it. I've never tried
