make sure the cleaner does not go into the face a/b/x/y buttons or they will die or become hard to push.

Mine drifts past the point of repair

Mine is the pointer finger trigger it gets stuck when I push it any advice??

My problem is when i walk forward but it brings me in random directions without even touching the controller. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

Take out the batteries, put wd40 on the joystick and turn it 4 or 5 times, put it upsufe down for 15 minutes to dry

does silicone lubricant work? I heard people used that instead and it removed the drift.

I got a loose joystick from gorilla tag but I changed my deadzone so it's fixed

you can also use rubbing alcohol that's what I used.

Does it work if you just wipe around the thumbstick

Before you use the contact cleaner make sure to take out the battery

i started getting drift and im only using it 2-3 days. brand new

I just moved my thumb stick and it broke off and sliced my thumb XD

Same... mine keeps wanting to act as if its pulled straight down randomly. Tried playing Lies Beneath today and got to a chase scene against some ugly behemoth and my controller just decides, nope! You gon stand right here in this spot doing little shaky steps forward until that nice monster comes over and ends your suffering!

It depends on how much your thumbstick is tilted, there is no good answer for everyone. Test it and find your perfect calibration 🙂

If the cleaner gets in the button is it ok?

Yep, The contact cleaner should do it’s job, It cleans the dirt and then it drys. Keep it there for 20 minutes and you should be good. Enjoy!
