Change audio to Mono audio for headphones . Had the same issue and at least that seem to solve it

My headset works for original remote but not my new ps5 remote any clues to why

So I tried all of this and nothing. So I was playing and all of a sudden the sound went out. I have 3 headsets. I have 3 ps5 controllers. I tried every single headset and every single controller and no sound. Any ideas? FYI my headset works just fine when I connect it to my phone or tablet. So I know the it's not the headset. I also have a brand new ps5 controller and still not working

@kenleywarren yea, corrupted game app. I had to un-install the game and download it again. Somehow it affected the controllers sound because I tried playing other games and there was no sound. After I install the game again, the sound for every game came back

This is so weird my headset was lit working before …. 😢

So i have my headset but the left side i not hear sound but the right side of the headset have sound how do i fix my headset comment if someone knows how to fix this problem.

We have 2 pairs of headphones (output only) and 2 headsets (input and output) in the house. Both headsets work with the PS5, both headphones do not. All 4 work on multiple other devices. Can you not use headphones with the PS5??

I'm having the same issue. Just bought new controller and wired headset. There is no vibration in one of my games and I can't hear people with this new headset. I'm stuck

Im having a problem where when ever i put my headset on my left ear it just does make any noise but when my ear isnt inside it does

So my headsets work just fine on my laptop and on monday they were working just fine for my ps5 but today and yesterday they weren't i even reset my ps5 controller still nothing

It happened to me I had to shove my USB device into my ps5 till it finally recognised the headset
