Your a legend I had the same problem my headphones where saying there connected but no sound and I went and took them back got another brand new pair for free bc I couldn’t find anyone who could fix it but it happened again today and I was looking for ways to fix it but couldn’t find anything this worked straight away life saver 🙌

What do u suggest , when I speak into my ps5 mic, it sounds lower than usual? Even when I turn my chat all the way up it’s seems to be a lower volume putting out

What’s the issue with linear pcm?

My friends just can’t hear me really

My issue was. 2.5 second delay in audio on the TV but no delay on the headphones. I tried everything, what fixed it for me was changing audio on the TV from surround to standard, then changing it back and it fixed it for me.

thankyou for the video it has given me better insight on the problem, however in sound, audio output i changed the output device and now the audio bugging stops but only when i have my headset plugged in. & it doesn’t give me the option to enable “mono audio for headphones” when the headset isn’t plugged in the audio bug continues. any suggestions?

My PS5 is updated as far as system update, but my audio output priority settings do not give me options for bitstream. Only Linear PCM, DTS, or DOLBY. Please help any suggestions?

Works for me a 100% of the time if I rebuild my database when you put it in safe mode

Thank you my issue was the HDMI because I tried the tv audio and making sure that the output was tv but the hdmi had a cable weighing it down which might have disconnected it a little thanks a 1000

How do I switch my party chat audio back to controller. Like I wanna here people talk through the controller not the tv

Also something I accidentally did was I had a plugged in mic and held the mute button on accident, it completely muted all sound for my ps5 maybe try holding the mute button again

Problem I have is apparently my microphone always cuts out when I speak lol everything is else is fine

weird thing, when i’m listening to myself on the mic i sound fine and good quality but when i recorded and upload it, theirs always a popping and i sound a lil muffled

Hello! Great tutorial but it doesn’t work for me, I bought a new Samsung monitor today and the ps5 has been running pretty well on it, but there’s no sound? I did everything and there’s only sound coming from the controller and there’s no music or talking in the games, tell me if I’m doing anything wrong to help me please! thank you

I reinstalled rdr2 onto my ps5, and with a lot of story heavy games, I plug in my headphones so I can not only hear the main characters but characters in the background. But ever since then, every time I play without the headphones, the audio has been stuck in the same muffled audio that the headphones do

I'm having an issue where certain sounds go really quiet when I turn the camera away from them. This is without a headset. Putting a headset in gives me no problems.

Same problem! Everything outside the camer is mute or very low, have you fixed it? I'm using a soundbar plugged to the monitor via jack cable and a USB to the the PS5, what can i do? Every settings (PCM, Dolby, DTS) doesn't fix it. Sorry for bad english by the way!

@@simonefranchini103 So from what I could gather it was the right speaker on my TV. It just wasn't very good(It was good for the first few months). I tested this issue out on all my available consoles and it wasn't just the PS5. The only way I could avoid it was if a game had mono as an audio option. In the end I purchased a soundbar and that fixed the issue for me.

@@simonefranchini103 Some modern games have it less Ratchet and clank rift apart so if you have the option pick that for the moment.

This happened to me about 5 days ago, but I went to put ps5 on and battery in pad is dead so I pressed power button on front of ps5 and now sound is working

My problem is when connecting a headphone (3.5) to my controller, the audio is mono and i can´t tell which direction the enemy is coming. I tried $5 headphones, $30 abd even $150 headphones, all these in a PS4 controller and uin a PS5 controlle, all that and i still have mono audio. Even tried eberything in this video and nothing changed, how con I fix it? Have you experience this problem?
