This Game Base thing.... Wtf It worked! This was a hidden menu option on my PS5 main lower menu icons. I would have never found this. Thank you and SPREAD THE WORD!

Which ones in the option menu for the last part of the video did you choose? Options 1. Voice chat setting 2. Privacy setting or 3. Notification, to get your stereo headphones to work correctly?

Change audio to Mono audio for headphones . Had the same issue and at least that seem to solve it

I tried to stream overwatch and had my earphones plugged in but whenever I adjusted my mic lvl i could hear it through my stream but whenever i went back to the game itself I couldn't hear my voice

Hey guys follow my steps… step1- press the PlayStation button in the middle of remote, Step2- scroll over to sound next to the mic, Step3- click it and make sure “mute game voice chat” is off. This should solve ur problem bc it solved mines!

My headset still doesn't change from microphone on controller to headset for input device at all for some reason and it's a brand new headset, it must be a internal thing at this point, any help would be appreciated!

You can also reset the controller in the back with a pin or something. Then that usually helps

When I go to setting my output device is headphones connected to controller but when I go to input device it says microphone on controller and there are. O other options

There is a problem with PS5 controls, when you connect your charging cable and headset cable to the controller at the same time, your microphone will make noise. When you disconnect the charger cable from the controller, the noise will also stop

@@velarswood Yes, but the microphone does work, it just makes a lot of noise. To solve this problem, you only need to connect the controller to the console with a cable, not a separate charge.

@hadirahimi3674 ah I've been using an usb mic with a head set and it seemed the usb faults out if the game is shut off when using another program. I just unplug and plug it back in whenever I record to be on the safe side lol.

The all audio and the voice chat audio is bugged out because when I switch to voice chat audio I still hear the game sound\ home sound

The mic level show that it’s working an I can hear people when they speak but my mic don’t work in game mode

The speaker on my purple controller is not giving me the audio from phone calls in GTA Online etc. I'll hear my bro's controller speaker work when he gets in-game phone calls from NPCs and the cop sirens etc. his controller speaker is working but mine isn't making such noises/working. I have yet to figure out why it suddenly stopped last month

I was in a raid, farming oryx. My voice was working, but when we went to orbit and went back in. My voice chat stop working from my headphones. I can hear the game music, my team can hear me but I can’t hear anyone. I checked everything but nothing working.

sometimes turning your controller off and reconnecting it helps

The issue with me is when i play Mw2 on the ps5 I can’t talk through the mic or controller, but any other game is fine🤷‍♂️ its weak lol

I bought 2 headphones 🎧, and first it dont work work on the main ps5 controller, so i bought new controller and put the headphones in the sound comes but the mics dont work, i dont hear no sound. They should have given headsets like the ps4 when you bought.

Well the good news is I can talk on my microphone and people can hear me clear but the party chat audio is on the TV instead of my headphones try doing the same thing on the video and it still didn't work🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

Idk your exact situation. To use the ps5 controller mic/audio jack with microphone ability, make sure your jac you're plugging in has 3 rings on it, not two. Regular 3.5 mini jacks have 2 rings on them and they can't do the third part that the three ring mic jacks do.

When I plugged it into my controller it popped up. If you have a switch on your mic that mutes, make sure it’s not on before plugging in!
