The suggestion for switching left and right buttons is great. But here's a warning: if that is indeed the problem, then you be left unable to interact with the computer, except by moving the focus with the tab button, then pressing enter. In that case, you should probab;y ask your brother to lend you his mouse.

just use the touch pad if you are on a laptop and if not then just right click to left click cus that works

Logitech thumb ball. Turn off> Unplug usb> Plug back in> Turn mouse on. worked thank you

Thank you the registry edit fix did the tricked. Yesterday, I did a SFC scan and repair plus a DISM scan. Wondering if one of those caused this issue.

registry key worked for me finally this has been going on for months, I have even factory reseted my pc for other reason and the right mouse button was still not working, and thats the main thing I use to pan my camera round in sims 4 thank you I have been googling for months no more pulling a finger muscle lol

Did you try connecting another mouse to your laptop? Try that, if the external mouse work, there might be hardware issue with the touchpad, if that, visit the service center to fix that issue.

I have Lenovo b50-45 and my right click stopped working as well. It only comes back for a short time when I restart my laptop. Tried everything. Still doesn't work

The last step doesn't work for me. FileSyncEx pops up again after restarting my pc.
