How to Fix Lower Back Strain Pain in 30 SECONDS
Dr. Rowe shows a very easy to follow three-part guide that can quickly get rid of lower back strain and pain.
In the first part, we're going to focus on addressing muscle tightness. This includes muscle spasms, knots and trigger points.
In the second part, we're going to focus on lengthening those muscles to help improve pain-free range of motion. Finally, we're going to try to get rid of strain and pain for good by strengthening those muscles.
All three of these parts work just a little bit differently, but when you put them together, you get the best of everything.
As a bonus, all of the exercises can be done at home, require no special equipment, and you may find give quick pain relief... even within 30 seconds.
Watch now to fix lower back pain and strain for good!

This really really feels great
I strained my back lifting weights a week ago and have been in horrible pain ever since. I followed this video out of desperation last night, not expecting much. It felt good in the moment, but I didn’t notice a ton of difference right after. Then, I woke up this morning and my back feels better than it’s felt all week. I was honestly amazed. I’ll be keeping this up and sending to my dad who recently had a similar injury. Thank you so much!!
I twisted my back about 4 months ago and it got progressively more painful most notably in bed at night. I haven't had s good night's sleep in weeks. I found this video after I went to bed last night and intended to start today but when I got to part 3 decided to try the exercises in the bed. I then lay on my stomach as in the part 2 exercices, fell asleep, didnt waken for 4 hours . I fell back asleep and got another 3 hrs - best night's sleep Ive haf in months. Im looking forward to starting the complete programme of exercises today. Thank-you doc 🙏
Dr. Rowe is the best!! I bookmarked several of his videos specific to my needs (sciatic nerve pain, lower back pain etc.) so I can refer back as I need them. He explains and demonstrates everything so well!!

Excellent.
I follow your channel because you give the best advice. Especially when I'm hurt. Yesterday I tried to move my boyfriend's 700 lb motorcycle and the kickstand flipped up and the bike went down. I tried to pick it back up and my lumbar "popped" and then I went to urgent care. I could barely walk. I'm icing and taking motrin and I been doing your stretches all day and I feel so much more mobile and a little less pain. Thank you for what you do!
Fantastic tips great job

Great video. Would you consider doing a video on how to incorporate a TNS type unit into a stretch or workout. I've had occasions when I was in too much pain to stretch and used the TNS unit (small battery operated one) for several minutes followed by stretching. If there are any specific techniques or settings you might suggest I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
Thank you so much. I couldn’t stand up straight due to a strain, but followed this video to the best of my ability and I have so much relief 🥹
This worked for me thank u

Thank you so much! These were amazingly affective! In addition to the tennis ball, I found I sometimes like to use two tennis balls, one on each side and rock side to side on each one, as sometimes the trigger point is on the opposite side of the pain.
Thank you so so much for this! Finally have relief after 2 days!

These are great for those who can get on the floor. If I got on the floor to do those I would never be able to get back up. I’d be nice if you could show some that didn’t require to be on the floor to do it. I’ve been suffering with lower back tightness for about two years now.

Hello Dr. Micheal I hope all is well. I have been training in the gym for 9 months consistently. Unfortunately I got injured in my lower back from the seated cable rows (Lower left side). I didn't go to the gym for 10 days now and i took Celebrex 💊 every 12 hours for the last 4 days only. It reliefed the pain but I'm trying to avoid medications and to fully recover from the recommended exercises. I would really appreciate your help. What would you recommend for my situation? Thank you
Which is the best stretch to help move a bludging disc out of the nerve root area? I'm having to much lower back pain to allow my local chiropractor to continue to pound on my lower back and spine and the back doctor's will not allow surgery.
I just did all these, so I'll see how i feel. My back has had pain for almost 20 years, but now I get unbearable burning. Like the bridges! I'll let u know how these worked. Still on the floor..thanks for your expertise and this channel

1:10 I strained muscles in my lower back yesterday and was in too much pain to go to work today. I did this exercise (I used socks instead of a tennis ball) and I went from maybe a 7 in pain down to a 2-3.

@boyan64

@thatoneguy9666 I don't know if is good to pressure on rapture muscle or strain muscle. If three is only a knot I understand, but for strain???
Thank you. After a weekend of driving for 12 hours, my lower back muscles would spasm in certain positions. The pain could be intense. These exercises were immediately helpful.
You're better than Bob and Brad any day
Is walking a good way to help recovery from a strained back? I strained my lower back a week ago and I have an infant at home 😩 I've needed someone to come over everyday to help lift and carry him/anything else for me. I tried the hamstring stretches last night and they seemed to help... I'm just so stiff/weakened from pregnancy and childbirth. I haven't been able to walk regularly for a long time!
I need help- I've gotten in a downward spiral of repeat lower back muscle pulls, guarding and restricting my movements and ROM, then healing tight, and re-injuring it by leaning over slightly just when I want to start trying to stretch it, repeat, repeat. Plus I wear a stiff brace at work to keep myself from accidentally leaning or twisting and hurting it more. UGH!!!
Thank you😅🎉 I can move again.

That's why I included the 'deadbug bridge' in this video. The deadbug is great for strengthening the anterior chain muscles (core and pelvic). The bridge helps strengthen the posterior chain muscles (back and glutes). When you put those together, you hit the front and the back. Hope this helps. 🙂
