How to fix LG Magic remote control scroll wheel not working

In this video I show how I fixed my LG scroll wheel. I used a straw from a WD40 spray tin to replace the broken spindle but you could use anything of a similar size. You need to make sure it’s a good fit in the wheel so it grips it enough to turn. You can always use a spot of glue but mine was a tight fit and no glue was needed.
Very common fault on these remotes from what I see.
Take care opening the case as you don’t want to damage it and also when drilling the hole, keep fingers clear.
