For $60 plus dollars for a remote that looks like $10 worth of parts, it should come with a metal rod instead of plastic or a better design in the first place. This kind of crap should be unacceptable.

I just did it with a hot pin from my wife, and cut the pin to length after pushing it right through from the other side. TRASH design by LG though. Tens of thousands of people are having this issue.

It is not necessary to detach and re-weld the electrical component. Using a 4 mm diameter copper wire of the right length. With a small file, one end of the wire becomes hexagonal (you can help by fixing it in the spindle of a drill and making it rotate 1/6 at a time). It is made to enter by force, first making a 3 mm hole, in the wheel and making it protrude by the right size. Everything is reassembled. More difficult to open the command!

They have replacement LG magic remotes or non LG that will work on Amazon for between $15-35$. I took my 2019 Model magic remote apart and the wheel spins and nothing was broken. But the Ok button when pressed doesn’t work. Even with the remote apart , I put the battery’s back in and the mouse was still move so I tried to just press the OK(wheel) down And the part that it presses down onto, just doesn’t respond. Neither does the Back button that surrounds the wheel. I cleaned it with a microfiber cloth and a little Alcohol, and it helped from the power button Staying Red non stop. So, I can Use it for Volume and all, but It lost connection to Internet, so I used a Remote LG app, And in the middle it jumped to a different WiFi Name broadcasting and now I can’t get it connected back to the internet! Thankfully, I use FireStick all the time, but Ima have to get a replacement remote I don’t even care if it doesn’t have the pointer or voice , just so long as I can make everything work .

Hocam benim kumanda da bu düğmeye bastıktan sonra power ışığı sabit yanıyor ve diğer tuşlar görevini yapmıyor sebebi ne olabilir. Sıvı teması olmuştu ama servis içini açtı oksitlenme yok dedi. Tamir edilmez değişir dedi.
