Keyboard automatically deleted all file like doc.,jpeg.,videos,texts.,all about software how to remove ,it shows starting windows and I canot work on my hp laptop ,after pressing any key on my laptop it is OK, but after 3,4 min it again shows deleting problem, how to fix it ,or how to disconnect laptop keybord and use external keyboard or how to deleting keybord problem repair hp laptop ,please help me this solution,. I try all device manager updates but problem is not going deleting anything when click mouse on windows .

Thank you. The Second method worked with little difference. In the device manager, the ''in-laptop'' keyboard had a different name than in the video. After uninstall and restart the name is the same as in the video.

Hi folks, essentially for past day I spend hours watching turtorials and still couldn't fix it, so i decided to fully redownload my windows and it partially worked, i now have full keyboard but my touchscreens stopped working. So do it on tour own risk, i will update if i find fix to that.

The keyboard and touchpad on my HP Spectre x360 suddenly stopped working. I managed to get them working again after disabling the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution in Device Manager, just as described here.

FYI, I tried all these steps, MULTIPLE TIMES with no result. I then updated my system BIOS and that was the trick for me - keyboard began working after the update completed. I am running an HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2. Hope this helps someone else.

Thanks so much , it worked for me too! I went to hp website and update the bios and it’s working again, the keyboard light was off and as soon as I restart after updating the bios they came back on :)

It doesn't change anything since they're both built very similarly.

None if those work... the mouse works and it says I have the best drivers around and device is working.. but it is not

How to fix lighting of keyboard in this laptop??

My keyboard sometimes doesn’t want to work. I always have to restart it and then it works. It only happens when I leave my laptop open when I am working on it.

In my case, not all keys are working. Some of the keys are not working 😭😭 is it hardware issue?

Similar issues. Mine is worse, all keys are mixed up. Accuracy is like 50%. Have you gotten a solution to yours?

Hi! My G, H, Ä, esc, backspace, multiply (numpad), F4, F7, F11 keys suddenly stopped working. I'm using a HP Laptop PC 15-dw3xxx laptop. I'm currently using an external keyboard which seems to work just fine, but obviously I'd still like to fix my laptop's built-in keyboard. I've tried cleaning the keyboard/laptop from both the inside and outside, uninstalling and then reinstalling the keyboard driver from device manager, updating the keyboard driver through HP support as shown in this video, troubleshooting, restarting the laptop.. I've been searching through the internet to find a way to fix this, but unfortunately nothing seems to work. Do you or anyone else know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It turns out it’s actually a motherboard issue. I have the same problem with my pc. The G, H, backspace, sec, f4, f8, windows key and some few others aren’t working as well. The more fascinating part is that they all stopped working together. A lot of other people have had the same issue and this particular issue, with the exact same keys not working, dates back as far as 13 years ago(judging based on the oldest case I saw on the internet), yet no real solution has been found for this. I found a forum where people talked about this. One guy said he replaced his keyboard and still had the same issues. It also seems hp is still unaware of this as well because nothing has been done about it even after all this time. I did find a video related to this though. This problem seems to be more common with hp 15 series laptops. I did try the solution in the video(link from earlier) it didn’t work for me. Or maybe I just didn’t do it properly.
