If you have a good scanner , it has an option called throttle relearn , it will relearn the idle

I do and it didn't do anything I think coolant got into the connector cuz I had to take the throttle body out and coolant dripped into the valve connector and the wire harness and since then the code came on

May I ask 2014 accord lx Where is located idle air control valve?

Are those things possible causes for a car having cranking issues? Auto Zone gave me a paper with this code. My car has problems starting.

Where is the iacv located of 07 odyssey?

I had the same thing and did the relearn idle and checked for leaks and nothing i did almost everything that says on the internet the last thing that i did. I went to the mechanic and with a computer he reset the throttle body and relearn the idle and then it got FIXED. Everything went back to normal

@@Gone_Rogue300 they do it by the computer 🖥️ with a OBD2 cable plugged into your car 🚗 they have to reset it and then do the relearn idle

@@Elvys809 all I did was take the battery post off and starter removing the exhaust manifold and removed the EGR hose and coolant hose to attempt to get tkt the starter from the top for an 08 Honda Fit! Then the idle started going nuts! When I put everything together.... Could this be just because I took the battery post off? Cuz I found a video on KZread in regards to programming the relearning system and it worked for me.

Is this an emergency or can i drive it for a few days?

Some Hondas don't have an idle air control (IAC) but electronic throttle control (ETC). If yours has one, it will be located at the bottom of the throttle body.

It has no throttle cable so I'm assuming that it is electronic throttle control

there's no idle air control valve for 2007 honda accord and i'm going crazy here

Pretty sure it's built into the electronic throttle body from 03-05 it was a cable driven throttle body in 06 and 07 it was switched to drive by wire

Mines the weirdest High Idle it starts at normal and it goes all the way to 4.000 to 5.000 rpms or higher if I let it!!I replaced the idle sensor throttle and disconnect every known thing known to mankind and stiil Takes off on its Own!!! to 4.000 5.000 rpms!!

Make sure you reset the computer after anything that alters that af ratio if you replave the iacv it needs a ecu/pcm reset and/or an idle relearn procedure same goes for a throttle potion sensor. If you replaced the tps you need to make sure it's voltage is set to the manufacturer spec if it says it needs to be at .50 volts it needs to be just that. You can most likely find a video or forum to learn how to do it

You likely didn’t put it on right used the existing original gasket which has worn down, if the code came up afterwards
