    I would love in depth tips for styling upside down yet avoiding a weird matted mess at my crown when carefully going upright. I've never been able to do this. I've added water, I tilt back & shake, and there must be something else I'm missing.

    @@majomillan6257 I use the Denman when styling. Sometimes a wet brush. Sometimes the be hairful. Sonetimes a tangle teezer. My hair doesn't start off tangled. And it doesn't get tangled when I scrunch/style right size up. The problem is scrunching/styling upside down and then upon going upright - whether super slow with a careful roll to the side & then up right or a flip straight back up - the crown area does something where the curls get stuck to each other, and are all twisted amongst the neighboring curls, all while one big spot will be so tangled it sticks straight up a couple of inches before settling into the gnarled mess of curls. Even in the shower, with hair 100% detangled, conditioner still in it, if I flip over and then brush or comb forward, the brush will either fight me during the forward brushing process and / or upon going upright (still with conditioner) that spot will do what I described. I've been trying this every way I can think of for YEARS.

Would also love a styling video. Constantly confused on what is best for my fine 2c/3a hair styling wise. Also, I know you did an in-depth Denman brush video already, but if you could maybe add something in about the benefits/reasons for removing bristle rows? Tried to research it, but you mostly only get like a paragraph about how to take them out not WHY to take them out. Thanks again and great video!

    I'm fine wavy and cannot seem to get results that are not flat and frizzy. Washing and styling upside down plasters my hair flat to my scalp, no matter how many times I brush it outwards - and of course, beyond a certain point, brushing only breaks up the clumps I'm trying to create.

    This is great, but everyone with curly hair should be aware of protein overload. Coconut oil destroyed my hair years ago and it took me a long time to discover that. If your hair is super dry and brittle, avoid protein and use moisturizers

  • @198663327

    Please Brittney help me out... u know for last few weeks my curls are going limp..my products do have protein in it...But still when I use rice water rinse my curls pop out better otherwise it's very limp and looking overmoisturised. Even after washing back to back 3 days that overmoisturised thing is not going. On the other hand when I used ACV rinse and rice water my hair looked better. Completely clueless...my hair these days looks like as if I have oil in my hair..and forget curls for sure

  • @sadhana8963

    @sadhana8963

    3 жыл бұрын

    Maybe protein is way down in the ingredients list and your hair requires more protein than how much your stylers can offer? Also, ACV rinse usually means a bit of clarifying so that means your hair has been frequently over moisturized or your shampoo is not fully removing the stylers and buildup.
