Thanks!!
Good job as usual. Metal decks cannot be left bear if blowing in the attic. They drip all the time.

Yup, we see it all the time
No problems in cold climates with spraying the bottom of the roof deck (unvented roof) with 2" and then later put fiberglass on top of the sheetrock? No issues with having air space between the two insulation types. Thanks
Hey can i spray the outside instead? Condensation issues here in sunny Phx thanks for the info man nice career!
Are you spraying with an ST1?
Gee, with your prep and set up paid for, I've would just got 2"-2 1/2" closed foam and not bother with batts.

No prep in this attic. But in our climate zone you need at least 4" of closed cell in the ceiling on the roof deck to really get the job done.

@@KyleSonSprayFoamInsulation Is that just because of regulation rather than actual real world heat retention of 86% with 2" of foam

Pretty much. Ive always wanted to spray a whole house with just 2" of closed cell to see how well it performs when it gets down to -5 degrees for a couple weeks up here.

No problem! I watch spray jones as well. He has a lot of great information for sure!
Getting rid of the moisture is the other half of the problem.

Yup, luckily for us we got a nice warm day so there was no condensation when we got there. Purlins were checked in several spots to make sure there was no moisture being held by them
