I was boutta blow my Xbox up but I see we’re all in this together

Had some sign in issues suddenly, so I did the reset, and some how it made it worse. The Xbox was operating very poorly, so I reset again, still had sign in issues, so then I removed the account, and it now won't allow me to add the account back. I click add account, and I get a loading screen for about 10 seconds, and then it just disappears and does nothing. I've tested my connection too and everything is good.

I managed to fix it, if you can call it a fix. The Xbox was connected to the internet, and it claimed to have a strong signal, but I decided to test the connection a different way by putting the Xbox directly next to the modem and connecting it to wifi, and it worked first try. I've had no issues since, and I also moved it back to its previous location and have a very strong signal. I have a feeling that I was getting to much interference from another source, possibly even multiple sources around my house and even in neighboring houses, but its been working fine since then.

If you go on Xbox assist, and then Xbox Status, It say it’s a major outage 😢

⚠️‼️Ok everyone the reason why it’s not working is because Xbox is updating and adding a lot of new games so there is going to be downtime for a few hours. We should be able to play tomorrow. Hope this helps you all.😊❤

On the historic day of July 2nd 2024, gamers rushed to this video to fix an annoying problem. Little did they know, it was caused by a xbox update and that they would have to wait until tomorrow to game on. Millions of gamers are now disappointed at Microsofts incompetence once again. They can't make a single update on anything without it breaking something.

I wouldn’t try either of those first actually. Best thing to try first is be sure your console is set up under sleep and startup go to sleep mode set to standby only so you can then check the box for when Xbox is off turn off storage then set back to energy saver. Now go to network settings. Now hit full shutdown from that same menu don’t use the controller Xbox button. When it starts back up go to your network settings and hit advanced then alternate max address then clear restart. Now when it starts up if your able to sign in run a speed check and what not to see how your nat and whatnot is looking. If you still can’t sign in then you continue to steps such as deleting your account. Before doing that be sure to figure it all out tho don’t wanna be stuck dealing with there support or lose anything purchased.

I believe also that this issue can be tied to having weak wifi. If you are playing under weak wifi signal it can also somehow interfere with signing in. I manually went offline and was able to sign in to my profile.

I just bought a Xbox series s today and I've tried creating two Microsoft accounts and two outlook email accounts and every time I tried logging in from the first time too it just says login with your Microsoft password with red words after pressing enter???

I just turned off everything and unplugged it all and I put it all back and it worked lol but this was very helpful thank you!!

Cleaning MAC adress in network settings helped me - when I was logged byt couldn't access any games

I tried everything on this video. I was on the phone with Xbox support for an hour troubleshooting. Nothing worked. He asked how long I had the Xbox, and I told him a few days. He asked where I bought it, and I told him Walmart and he said to just return it and get my money back. Phone call ended, and I retried everything for another 30-40 minutes. Nothing worked, and was just about to put it back in the box for returning, and I tried one last thing. I switched from 5 GHz to 2.4Ghz and it worked perfectly. My series x said my connection was good with 5GHZ but as soon as I tried signing in it said I was basically screwed. Tried 5GHZ on my series s and same thing until I switched back to 2.4GHZ. Hope this helps.

So I have a hacked account where it only allows me to sign into my Xbox series s account and not sign into my Xbox series x everything was changed

Does this apply to game pass backwards replay ability? Fallout 3 on game pass tells me my password is wrong.

Removed acct and re added 4 my son and worked. Made me a 40 odd yr old non gamer look like I still got sum skills 😉

It's working just came on I did a hard reset went offline then back online now it works

I really really hate this issue. It pops up randomly at the precise wrong time. You would think having a standard console and so many damn updates you are forced to download that they would have figured this out by now.

If you’re seeing this on July 2nd 2024, you can fix it by going to your network settings and pressing the “go offline” button, then sign in to your account after you sign in, then click it back to online. Hope this helps

My problem is I’m trying to sign into my friends account which when I try to sign in it says i need to put a security code when my friend doesn’t even have two step on, it’s getting really annoying

OK, anyone who see this, go to settings and in the general area hit network settings. Then select the tap that says go offline. After that just sign in and it should work and then go back to settings and hit go online.

What just happened to me is o woke up today turned my Xboxone on and it said ad new account or skip sign in so in other words my account is gone I guess.

Right now I could only log in while in offline mode, but I think as soon as you try to switch back to online the loading circle just pops up again

I just had this issue and if someone can’t sign in still you can try and go into the Xbox app on your phone and sign out then try to sign in on your Xbox, it worked for me👍🏼

What you can do though is go offline sign in to a account if you have any more then go back online and you should still be signed into that account

Update After three hours of trying to find solutions, turn off the router and pull the Xbox cable, wait 1:00 -1:30 minutes and turn them back on together,turn on your xbox and press add new and then the problem is solved, no thanks for the duty
