I don’t see anyone posting results so I’ll start this routine and I’ll be updating Update after 1 month: I've been doing these exercises almost daily. My legs are straighter now and my knees don't hurt anymore after walking for a while. I've also noticed that when I walked I used to put all my weight on the outer portion of each foot and it worsened the problem, now it's easier to put all my weight evenly on each foot and it helps straighten them. My advice to anyone who wants to try this is to take pictures to compare before and after because that's the only way you can see the difference and to be consistent with the exercises.

Hey, man... Just wanted to give you a big THANKS! for this video. It has, believe it or not, saved me a knee replacement. That's what I was on the verge of after getting advice from 2 orthopedists. They said that was the ONLY way to correct my progressively crooked leg from a ski injury 20 years ago. Well, a year ago I looked at your video and tried these routines. And I've done them religiously every day for this past year. I've seen a huge improvement! to the point that neither I nor anyone I know would any longer call my leg 'crooked'. I can see it every time I walk up to a store window and in the eyes of people I meet that no longer 'look down' at my leg on my approach. Big change in this most natural way... strengthen the adductors and loosen the abductors.... fantastic, effective advice. Keep up what you're doing. It's good. Thanks again.

It's not a miracle thing, but it definitely helped. Also, one thing I did that's not shown here and I think is really important is I got a velcro 'wrap' that I put around the knees to draw them together (tight) and leave this on for 15 minutes a day. You can make one of these wraps easy or I got mine on ebay. Good luck.

Loved your video, thank you. Instead of sitting with splayed legs would crossing the legs at the knee help with the stretching the external hip rotators and help prevent the tightening of the hip adductors? This seems similar to the exercise of bringing the leg over and stretching. Also I can do this nearly all day. Thanks for the video.

I felt a change when starting this. I don't think I was born with it but siting improperly as a kid and I think I had insoles that gave me high arches which promotes this problem. Thankfully mine are not too bad and I'm not too old yet I hope to completely fix it. I've noticed more leg strength when focusing on trying to walk more on my inner thighs instead of the outside of the legs. Will be getting more consistent with you're suggestions. Thank you so much ❤️

Think so little bit yes but I have been slacking on the stretches. main thing is to train body to use the inner leg muscles more. Then once you accomplish that as muscle memory you will be strengthening those muscles throughout the day. As they grow it will straighten or make them appear straighter. Also take high doses of vitamin D3. But do research on that. You need K2 and magnesium too

Thank you so much for this video! I can already see how bad posture and not working out has given me bowed legs. While standing, my knees don't touch and shins go outward, but if I'm sitting, my legs can be perfectly straight. However, like you said, I have had bad posture sitting and keep my legs spreading apart a lot of the time. If my feet, ankles, knees, and shins can touch while sitting, I firmly believe they can touch while standing once I do the corrections you have in this video. Much appreciated sir.

I haven't been 100% consistent with the exercises in this video. I do workout using the LIIFT4 program from Beachbody though so my legs are still getting some working. My left leg isn't really bad at all, but my right leg is noticeably bow-legged. The only thing I can attest to is stronger muscles and possibly slight bone movement. I was initially twisting my right leg slightly to make sure my toes were pointing perfectly straight, but that was wrong. Now I am making sure that I am pushing my hip adductors together when walking or standing still and my posture is automatically perfect. This seems to be stretching my bones or at least my knees. My knees don't crack like they used to when bent. Considering I am 25, my bow legs have been uncorrected for years so I am certain it will take longer than 1 month before I see visual progress. Muscle strength and good posture definitely are a good start though. I've been watching videos from this woman, and she has given a lot of great tips to help out. I highly suggest you check out her channel and make sure you are following her tips like the one I said earlier about pushing the hip adductors together. /watch?v=binI7nGkc9I

I would say more than half the population in Japan consistss of bow-legged people. There are so so so many treatments recommended by chiropractors and they work. One of the most common ways to fix them is to put a light cushion between your knees and bend your knees while holding the cushion- 15 reps, 3 sets. It's also true that the lateral portion of the glute muscle (don't know the scientific term, I'm not an expert) is tight, so you need to soften that by lying on the belly and swinging your legs (below your knees) side to side- 30 reps, 2 sets.

Hip adductors have both long like gracillis which is tight in bow leg and short adductors like adductors longus, brevis and Magnus will be weak. By doing the side lying inner thigh raise, we are strengthening the gracillis too. At the same time, long abductor which is IT band is weak in varum and external rotator of hip will be super tight. So we should stretch the short abductor and long adductors and the strengthening is just opposite. Hope it makes sense!!!!

This is a great question: Well, extreme sport, 9-5 etc. can cause muscle imbalances. Knock-knees and bow legs are not mere cosmetic phenomena but common issues that can be caused by an imbalance in the hip abductors (group of muscles that externally rotate the hip) and the hip adductors (group of muscles of the hip that help draw your thighs toward each other). Our lifestyles take a serious toll on our well-being. What affects your hips equally affects other parts of your body and may have an impact on the way you stand, walk, and even the way you look. They are closely interrelated and may cause your body to compensate, creating problems elsewhere. A healthy muscle is strong and flexible. Keeping your muscles healthy may be the best way to support the job of your hips and legs. Feel free to work-in with me here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIqs2rmve5bghdI.html. This simple sequence will help strengthen you adductors and lengthen your abductors. Good luck!

I am starting this exercise routine from today Date : 7 aug 2019 If I get any good results I will be posting my feedback and results here. This legs are nightmares I cannot walk properly. It's embarassing having bowed legs. I have not been bullied because of this but I don't like it. Whenever I put on pants, my legs just looks weird. First I thought that only I had such legs but later I came to find about this problem and was little relieved. I am not the only one with these legs. Thank you for reading my leg story. If I get any good results in the future I will be sure to post it here. Have a good day/night to all my fellow bow leggers.

I have bowed legs. It's difficult to stand for a long period of time. Exercise specifically strengthening your legs, calves,shin,/lower extremities helped a lot. Also, practice good posture. It will not totally straighten your legs but it pays off. Above all else, I learned to love my bowed legs. I see many models and athletes with bowed legs in every clothing webpage I go to. Good luck!

i have the slighted, bowed legs - only my right leg goes a big out, only noticable if i wear short dresses. But it still annoys me. Do these methods work and how long to do for?
