Great to see a truck saved from the scrap yard. More and more old cars are going there. Some of them are still great cars but they are still scraped.

Really enjoying your videos. I am restoring a pickup truck just like that, however it is a 2.2ltr diesel. suprisingly enough i have rust in the same places yours has/had. We call it toyota hilux (RN30 round head lights, rn40 square headlight) in my country :)

I like "Hilux" better, but for some reason Toyota thought Americans would like "Pickup" better.

Did you guys ever get ln106 Hilux’s in America? Because I only ever see them with a ‘space cab’ with independent suspension.. just wondering?

Nope :( The only ones here have been imported to the US under the "25+ years old" rule.

Hi To be brief I accidentally drove with my emergency brake on for about 5-10 minutes going 35-45 miles per hour because I was going to a gas station and I smell burning .. What kind of consequences can I expect and if I do get my car check out and expect repairs what kind can I expect and will it be expensive ? I’m worried I damage my rear wheel area . Thank you sir
