Agreed! I'm not making an ornament but I just wanted some other way to finish my cross stitch that didn't take a hoop or picture frame. This worked perfectly! However, I did have to hot glue the aida cloth onto the board because it was just too stiff, I couldn't pull tight enough to keep it wrapped. It ended up really nice though, so thank you!
I definitely chose the right video on finishing cross-stitch ornaments today. Love the basting and lacing technique. I never would have thought of this. THANKS!!
OK Cindy. I have a dozen or more ornaments in my completed pile that need finishing so I will be watching your video here a few more times to get it right! Thank you for your easy tutorial! I hope I can make my ornaments as nice as yours! Wish me luck...!

Hi Cindy, I, like many of your commenting subscribers have a pile of completed projects woefully waiting to be finished. I’ve never seen any samples completed with batting and your completed ornaments are what I would call, “truly lovelys”! I cannot wait to rescue my projects and begin again. Many thanks.

Cindy, Thanks so much for this tutorial. I also wanted to say I cried and cried when I saw Mary Rose was stopping Flosstube. I, like you, felt like we were connected, and her episodes were always so comforting. I understand that she wants to do other things, and I am not mad, just sad and will miss her. I did ask her if she would keep them up for a while, as I have rewatched many when I just need a comforting voice. She is so unique and such a good soul. I am a better person for having met her on Flosstube. I know that sounds strange, but I have learned so much from her, from her gently ways, and kindness, and humor. She will be missed by many. Take Care Cindy. I am glad you are still doing Flosstube. Peggi
