I’ve gotten back into cross stitch about 3 years ago now, and I find it so relaxing. I use a hoop to keep the fabric tight because it just works better for me and I have a neck light because these old eyes need lots of light. Really love being able to sit in my recliner to craft. Very cool. I have a library of counted cross stitch books and a banker box full of various count aida cloth and even weave linen for doing HAED patterns. I even have a frame. I have 4 boxes of floss even and multiples of all the DMC colors and specialty threads used in some HAED patterns. Its been a few years since I've done Counted X-stitch. This looks so much easier than the tedious counting 😛😁

Hello my friend, I have not tried cross stitch without using a hoop. I will definately have to try your way. It looks easier and you don't stretch the canvas. Thank you for the video.
