I tried this, only to be met with frustration. The numbers just jump around and are drastically inconsistent. Doesn’t matter if I use alligator clips or bare prove. Thankfully I was able to find a matching terminal plug.

or if you had a bad internal contact to common or its short, you'll have numbers that dont add correctly.....numbers jumping around may indicate an internal short that acts intermittantly
is this the same for a DC refrigerator compressor that works on 12/24 Volt (for example BD35F) ?
