Thank you Insydium for these tutorials (and extended free trial) while a lot of us work from home! We greatly appreciate it!
As a paid Maintenance customer I just finished all the Maintenance series and I really enjoyed them! I learned a ton of tricks and basic techniques. They are exceptionally high quality and give loads of background understanding of how X-Particles works. Highly recommended. It is very generous of you all to make them available to all. I especially enjoyed the space weather one on Flow Fields!
BOB my man, very very nice, exciting and amazingly executed.. you and Mike can have dozen of beers and popcorn (if desired) on me. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
thanks so much, your way of teaching is so good and clear.
This was incredibly informative and useful. Not to mention very inspiring. Such an amazing tutorial sir! Well done!
This is an excellent tutorial, thank you :)
Super useful. Thanks.
Cool thanks !
Thank you Bob. Again a great tutorial where one can learn a ton. But....as usual I'm failing on the last step: Rendering in Cycles.
nice. thanks alot
too nice, but is there anyway to have the method to render with Cycle4d? thanks
15:06 vorticity puzzles me: the settings make no difference whatsoever (large/small vorticity set to 0-100). Neither in Bobs video nor in my own (extended) tests... I do have an impression of what it should look like from other sim tools (Houdini, Embergen, RealFlow)
As paying XParticle customer I watched all this count down series tutorial. Fluid simulation and ExplosiaFX are certainly great features, but xpShatter leaves me wondering: In what situation would one choose to use xpShatter vs. C4D native Voronoi Fracture + rigid body dynamics when xpShatter can't even prevent fragment from intersecting with each other?

One more feature to make the XP4 more marketable most likely... I also was wondering the same myself... Some fluff I suppose...
hello i'm trying this now and xpfoam does seem to work differently than here. tried finding info somwehere else but with not much successs. air rate seems to generate zero particles no matter what settings i use. plus they jump out of water quite a lot and move too vigirously. c4d 2023.2 and x-particles build 1492
