How to Fall in LOVE with TOKYO | The Ultimate Travel Guide (2024)
Get your JR passes here: www.jrailpass.com/?...
This is our version of a Travel guide to Tokyo in which we explore the neighbourhoods in and around Tokyo Station, Akihabara, Asakusa, Yoyogi Park and Shinjuku.
- ABOUT US -
Hi! We are Pooja & Shravan, an illustrator-engineer duo from Bangalore brought together by the love of travel and adventure.
We have traveled together since the winter of 2016. On one such trip, we started documenting these travels on a humble phone camera. We soon realised that we really enjoy capturing these experiences. We are entirely self taught (students of the internet) and have learnt from binging on brilliant creators over the years.
In our videos you might find glimpses of places that are not spoken about enough. We always vouch for spots that are somewhat the underdogs. Our vlogs are sometimes vlog-ish and sometimes a documentation of the place as we see it. We hope that watching these videos will bring a little dose of joy to your day.
We love reading your comments and hearing your thoughts.
They motivate us and help us steer our creative path.
With love,
Pooja & Shravan

Once again, amazing video that is of the highest production quality with great content and captivating visuals. Japan is my bucketlist country to visit ever since I got hooked to Murakami. One quibble though - when you mentioned in the intro that you would be showing Shinjuku, I was sure you would show the Shinjuku train station but it was not meant to be. If there was one place I would definitely love to see and get lost in is THAT station :)

Thank you so much!!! About the Shinjuku station…. Now who said this was the only episode on Tokyo 😜😉😉. It’s all coming soon. And btw, the Tokyo station has way more character than the shinjuku station, even though shinjuku is the busiest in terms of footfall😊😊

Did you planned every spot before going to japan or some of them were instant or on recommendation??
amazing ! it was a pleasure very cinematic. I like the way Tokyo was presented. It changed my perception towards Tokyo. It makes me wonder, that if its so perfect then when are the people in Tokyo are lonely OR its not true ? I hope the channel growth is exponential and the tours are sponsored perpetually :) I can understand the love for trains because I also love trains. 15.43 needs video stabilization.

Oye Gaurav thanks man 😄😄😄Tokyo, we feel, is very under represented online and this was our attempt at sharing what we felt when we came here as “travellers” . There are many layers and nuances to this city that may take a few months to years to understand. Yeah we figured the stabilisation issue… we will mostly stop talking those selfie shots in the future.

@@PoojaShravan you can pass unstable video through sw stabilizer. If resolution is good enough, video quality won't degrade.
