- ABOUT US -
Hi! We are Pooja & Shravan, an illustrator-engineer duo from Bangalore brought together by the love of travel and adventure.
We have traveled together since the winter of 2016. On one such trip, we started documenting these travels on a humble phone camera. We soon realised that we really enjoy capturing these experiences. We are entirely self taught (students of the internet) and have learnt from binging on brilliant creators over the years.
In our videos you might find glimpses of places that are not spoken about enough. We always vouch for spots that are somewhat the underdogs. Our vlogs are sometimes vlog-ish and sometimes a documentation of the place as we see it. We hope that watching these videos will bring a little dose of joy to your day.
We love reading your comments and hearing your thoughts.
They motivate us and help us steer our creative path.
With love,
Pooja & Shravan

Awesome watch . Heading out to japan in Nov for 2 weeks. So your video really helps. Firstly I'm shocked at how low you have been able to keep the expenses. I'm breaking the bank on accommodation and flight as of now compared to how you have planned it out. Secondly your inputs about the places to eat are already getting added to my itinerary (veggie bangalorens here as well ) Great watch thanks for all the info really helped 👍

Getting cheap flights and accommodation requires quite a bit of scouting. We usually keep our money ready and scout sky scanner for a few weeks till the prices drop. For cheaper accommodation, go for airbnbs. The earlier you book the better price you get. Hope this helps 😀

@@PoojaShravanairbnb can be hit or disappointment in my experience. So prefer to keep it to hotels and a fixed certainty. Any experiences or reviews for combini/ supermarket food in japan that u can share (or better yet make a video about 😂)

I saw your comment on Allan Su video and got curious. I watched every second of this guide since I’m planning to go to Japan. This is a pearl of a guide from cinematic to background audio. I also liked how you show roadmaps animation. I usually prefer watching more silent (with caption/subtitle) vlog type videos than spoken ones but your execution in describing all the steps is done very well, so I didn’t mind it at all. It’s weird that you haven’t gotten many views already.

What a beautiful beautiful guide. I can only imagine the amount of hardwork it must taken. And it shows. Not sure why you arent getting more views but I'm sure you'll be in the top soon. Sharing with my friends! Good luck and awaiting more such videos😊

@@PoojaShravan You should plan a small group tour for couples. I am sure you will be the best Sherpa to the innocent souls :). I have completed my half century with Mali being the 50th country I visited last month, but even after visiting so many countries (out of which many I have travelled multiple times (work calls..you know lolzz)), I will be the first one to sign to travel with you both (if time and wife permits 😄)

@@sam291978 Hahaha Sam we’re not sure many people would enjoy travelling with us. 😋 Filming slows us down quite a bit and it’s a fair bit of work. We’re sure they’d quit on us in a day or two. But we feel so good to hear you say this. If ever we plan to go camera free, we will definitely consider this as an option😁

This video is spot on and super informative!! I am currently planning the trip for 14 days and we will be visiting Japan this November. This video really gave me an insight on how the major cities like Tokyo and Kyoto night life is like. Excellent recommendation that for sure I will add it to my planner! greatly appreciated the work!

Excellent video. It is very descriptive. It shows where to visit, how to go there, where to eat , what to eat for vegetarians like me and the cost. Will be looking for more videos from you guys.
