I was addicted to porn for years😢, never knew the damage it was actually doing to my walk with Abba and my marriage, as of 3 weeks ago I was going through a divorce. Through your books and messenger X and the Grace (power) of Abba that bondage has been taking away. Abba promised me He would restore my marriage, and I’m seeing His promise. Me and my wife have decided by the prompting of the Holy Spirit to not divorce, John through your testimony and teachings you have shown me so much on the proper fear of the Lord and so much more, you are a true man of God❤. May you continue to bless many more through Gods word and set many more free from bondage and lead them to the Lord.

Lisa you just mentioned something that I have struggled with for sooo sooo long “If these people like me, invite me, include me, then I have worth and if they don’t, there’s something wrong with me”. Then God said to you “why would you ever give anyone that much power over you? Why would you allow other peoples responses to you, which you can’t control, to determine how you feel at any given moment?” That really spoke to me, I start to tear up because it really tears at my heart. I want to be set free from this. I use to be a confident Christian but for some reason, in the past few years, I’ve noticed I crawl more and more into my shell, I isolate myself, i go out with few friends once in a blue moon, go to church and go home straight afterwards. If any of my family don’t reply to my messages, I start to think like this. Anyway, I’m really having to lean in on God because I’ve gotten to a point where it’s really affecting me and I know it’s affecting my husband. But I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for sharing. I love listening to you and John. It really encourages me. Gets me out of the pit and helps me take my eyes off my circumstances and onto Jesus because HE is where my joy comes from. Love you both❤❤

Thank you for this Word of Encouragement! I went through my Bible with each scripture you spoke, highlighted them and wrote notes beside them. My husband and I have 5 boys and we’ve been moving around every 2-3 years for the past 7 years because of my husband’s career path he’s on. It’s been challenging moving each time finding a church community, getting plugged in, growing friendships and then having to move and start back over. I know that God has strategically placed us where we are ment to be, and I have come to learn that when I’m looking for opportunities to be used by God with where He places us my heart is filled with Joy! I am able to grow even more in my faith. Yesterday we were told that my husband has an interview on Friday and if he is chosen we will have to move again. My heart has a lot of emotions right now but I’m praying, reading my Bible, and choosing to worship and sing to fight the fear off and have Gods peace in my heart. This conversation you guys had about joy lifted my spirit. I know I’m right where God wants me and if we need to move again I do not have to fear because God is with my family and I. ❤My hope and trust are in God not my circumstances.

My 3 year old has been going through digestive issues. And after doctors and emergency trips, the answer did not become clearer. As a matter of fact, test results come back with more questions. After weeks and months of frustration, I started sounding like Jeremiah, complaining at God, and at the same time saying scriptures of His promises. I often hear the Holy Spirit say “will you still have joy in this situation?” I would be lying if I said I didn’t try to turn my face away from God. Just for a few hours, numbing myself with distractions of the world. Just a few hours of self pity and anger. But this video made me turn around and face my creator with reverence and repentance. And I am going to shout with joy even in this situation. Also when you mentioned salvation, it answered my question about helmet of salvation in Ephesians 6. To guard our minds and thoughts from things of the world with a helmet of salvation.

I’m really grateful to you guys for yielding to the Lord and sticking with the BIBLE! I, myself in personal experiences with the Lord, have found it hard to align with the Bible in tough situations, although I know what the Bible says about that particular situation. But seeing people who have gone ahead, encountered the same life situations I have, in a measure and have taken sides with the Bible is so encouraging. Thank God for you guys!

That’s the spirit of heaviness so start declaring Isaiah 61 and start praising God, it will break the spirit of heaviness and declare God’s Joy is Your Strength ❤

Just a question, 1 Timothy 2:11-14 prohibits women from teaching. Can you explain why Lisa preaches and if this is biblical?

I have the same question all the time whenever I see a woman preaching. I myself am a woman and I would like to know if we should interpret it as it is written, or if we should interpret it as not applicable for this time, as many people say
