This series has been timely. Watching Austin as an adult sharing this process, after watching him grow up listening to Lisa, has been an honor. I’ve watched the series 3 times. Written down all the verses to read out loud daily. I went through the process of renewing my mind with God’s Word in 2010 and aftershock few years got lost in my career as a public school teacher which I have since resigned from and grieved painfully, a horrible relationship, and bed ridden from sickness. I’m reading Victory Over the Darkness and writing down every verse that is referenced. Starting to believe God’s Word for myself again, not just for others, has given me hope once again. Listening to Austin has also given me hope for my 21 year old son that what he learned about the Lord growing up, he will take hold of it again in his adult life. Thank you both for this series. It was right on time for me in my journey of renewing my mind once again. Also found the Bible plan on the Bible app today to go through. 🙏🏼

Such a beautiful message. Im slowly working on discipline especially when it comes to memorizing scripture to be equipped in difficult seasons & my 6 year old today was like Mami practice your bible verse so I tried to say colossians 4:6 to him but I would forget some parts he like are you learning this for your teacher I said yes my teacher is God. Than he went & repeated the verse John 3:16 since he memorized it & it was so nice to say it with him since I learned it from him for being so disciplined. ❤

Diligence and discipline are great and important virtues and thanks for challenging us,but I really do not like the disregard towards emotions,it is not healthy either.Emotipns are not bad and they are not something "to master"or to control.That is not the way to work with emotions and it always pays back-ask the therapists and psychiatrists.Healthy balanced od what we need -but not dominating emotions,not that.We choose whether to follow the emotion or not and the positive habit is important for making the right choices quicker and smoothe - that is the definition of the virtue btw..
