Could you work in gold for that gold streaked marble look you have done in the past on countertops? What about acid staining on the concrete? Could you do a clear coat and the a top coat on something like that? The floor looked great!

Top coat is mandatory as a protective layer if you want a high quality epoxy floor. However, you can pick different top coats. High gloss or no gloss, and they both work the same way. You roll them on white and they dry clear.

By covering the relief cuts with epoxy ( in the event the concrete contracts and expands) would the epoxy flex with the concrete slab?

I want to create a bathroom decor that makes the entire room appear to be under the sea, from floor to ceiling. I want to create a floor that replicates the ocean floor, sand, seashells, crabs, starfish, and etc. I know that I should start with a base paint. But, after that should I glue down a thin layer of sand and the small creatures that I want on the seabed, then pure the epoxy over it all or should I mix the epoxy with the sand, trowel in the sand waves as I put down the epoxy/sand, and then place the small creatures? Of course I would need to pure the top coat of epoxy and go through all of the finishing steps. Can you think of a better way to create what I am planning to attempt? Also, can the epoxy be pure on a floor with a heating system?

Quinn, my epoxy is a tiny bit more viscous than this video shows. My house is about 10°F cooler than the 79° mentioned in the videos. I would call this a house paint or cream viscosity, not water-like. Maybe the temperature is part of the problem. Your commentary on this is appreciated.
