Marc Alexander Sporys - photholics did you make sure you selected all the clips and you're still in that window? I know as soon as I clicked somewhere else even if they were still selected it would get rid of the option

Jiel Gonzo just go to the keyboard shortcuts and search add marker in search bar and drag that to your desired keyboard button and after that play the song amd whenever you hear a beat tap that desired button(in my case M) and thats it

Bonus tip: You can pre-organize the clips in the thumbnails view of your project. In that way, you can choose the order that you prefers and not the sequential order of recording

in FINAL CUT the closest thing to this is setting the markers as shown, then set the in and out points same as peter does, and drag your clips onto your marker, ensuring that Snapping (N key) is turn on. Then just delete the excess with the blade tool (B) at the next marker!

You probably won't even see this, but I've been using Premiere (here and there) since Premiere 5.0 and I've been cutting the music on the beats and the accurately placing the clips for so many years.. If you set a Macro button as: Q > Play > Shuttle Right It will autoplay at 2 times speed immediately after ripple delete. I always edit in 2 times speed so it saves me 2 keystrokes

Wow! I thought the only way was by zooming into the audio to find each marker of a beat. This was extremely helpful.

My camera developed a little fault where it slightly rotates the image when I hit record, meaning I have to trim 2 seconds of the start off every video clip I have. Thanks to this I've discovered how to do that in about two seconds flat and you have changed my editing life! Thank you Peter!!

This definitely just blew my mind, wow... I usually cut them myself and have to always make minor adjustments that gets tedious and time consuming. Thanks for blowing my mind yet again, McKinnon!

Awesome tip, I was already using the markers but this makes it quicker and just BETTER

Still watching at 2019...coolest thing ever!

I mean thats only useful if the clips in your bin are already in the order you want to edit them with. This isn't really editing it's more just chopping clips and putting them in random order on the timeline. Even though that "automate to sequence" option can be handy if used correctly

@@mattstratts search up subclips. supposedly you drag a clip to your source monitor, edit in-points and out-points, then drag to your bin. it'll ask you to save it as is.
