Lobster weren't always considered a delicacy. It was once dirt cheap food for the poor. Dirt-cheap because they were so copious, lobsters were routinely fed to prisoners, apprentices, slaves and children during the colonial era and beyond. In Massachusetts, some servants allegedly sought to avoid lobster-heavy diets by including stipulations in their contracts that they would only be served the shellfish twice a week.

This makes me want to play runescape lol
The cheff or cook or whatever, looks like a mix between Edward Norton and Daniel Negreanu

I feel bad for crabs and lobsters because they can't enjoy delicious stuff like this.

Ever wonder why lobsters have rubber bands on their claws¿ They attack and eat each other.
I agree with the chef on the breakdown of the lobster. Nothing wasted.
I'm too lazy to read all the comments but...FUN FACT : Some lobsters are left handed and, some are right handed AND....@ Capecast, your lobster looks a little dry. Each time I eat one, it is full of " juice ".
This guy is really passionate about lobster
I'm vegan but idk why most vegans feel like it's a crime to eat meat. It's your life. Do what you want

OMG! I didn't think I would ever hear from a sane vegan! Thank you for making my day. If we were not created, or evolved (you choose) to eat meat, it would not appeal to us. I don't see too many horses, cattle, sheep, etc..., eating meat. In fact, they refuse it...🤔
Ohhhhhhhh man this made me want lobster!!! Looks so bomb !!
Love those Tamale!!! Thank you for showing me the way to crack the body of the bug.
Yes, my mouth is watering! Looks fantastic....give me some!😋
You get a gold sticky star for not using the word "wicked" once in this video.
probably should have watched this before i tried my first lobster...took me an hour and was a giant mess

That buttery/fatty stuff in the lobster's head is the BEST part.
Thanx for the great info!!!
i do always watch this kind of videos about sea food at late night.. i just love to see them i don't know why.. i also love to eat them.. i just wanted to share this :)
I have never eaten a lobster, after watching this I will now! this looks oh so GOOOOOOOOOD.
Very very instructive.
This is a great video!
I'm having some lobster at home tomorrow. I'm going to use this technique!!
I just drooled on my self when he cracked that claw! Holly shit!
Great video. Just watching it, makes my mouth water., lol.
It's 1:30 am, and I'm so hungry!
Real good vid! Gonna cook one tonight for NYE, friendly guy also haha
Im watching this bc I looove crab but have never really had lobster, I tried a piece and it was a bit like crab claw (which I am not a big fan of) so I never tried it again. Now that I'm starting to overcome the texture of a crab claw, I want to give lobster another try. I wish I could watch you do a crab. I know how to already, but this video was so awesome I could watch a whole series.
Great beautiful video! I love lobsters! Thanks for sharing. :-)
YES YES YES taking the tail apart THE RIGHT WAY FINALLY !!! You should Have mentioned The difference between Male and females ( for those who Like the Row) and how to Identify them without even looking at them... (touch)
I’ve never eaten lobster but seeing all these videos with people eating it, I really want to try it.
he makes it look so easy
im so drooling right now
That just made me really hungry.. Good vid
"There is a psychology to it" 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
3:55 that looks sooo good!
Great video
Now I'm in the mood for lobster.
Very clear and simple to a neophyte
Oh man this is awesome!
Lol. It’s all the best parts and they’re all his favorite

***** And unfortunately, not a whole lot that we can do about that.
Edward Norton teaches you how to eat a lobster.
I literally almost drooled on myself
LOL when he said "You don't need butter" Savages.
Why am I watching this at 5 in the morning
I watched some Gordon Ramsay vids hoping to see how to extract the meat from the body, but no luck (even though he claims to show how to extract "every ounce" of meat) - this vid had exactly what I was looking for, right around the 6 minute mark - thanks!
This appears out of nowhere in my recomendation
i like the sound and that is so delicous
Edward Norton showing you how to eat lobsters
Absolutely salivating. 😋😛😝... can you just force a claw through the escape or return key on your keyboard. I love you dude. 👌🏽❣️😹
Mmmm lobster drool! I'm cracking mine open asap!
I'm hungry now. Thank you!
Damn! Never had a lobster like that within range😋 All that talk of the tomalley had my salivary juices going😙👍
Thank you for the education!!!
This guy really knows how to section and eat a lobster. I typically start with the crawly legs and finish with the body meat, but at least this guy didn't waste anything.
This guy's resemblance to Edward Norton is uncanny!
I'm going to go buy some because it looks so good
now that is one good looking lobster.
12 year old video and its still bang on.
I've noticed that no matter what animal it is, the parts that people usually skip over are always "the best part". I think it's a mental thing. You could literally eat all of the meat off of an animal and someone would be like "but the heart is the best part of the animal"

On that note, for some reason I trust and believe him when he says it.
OMG....so delicious lobster....thanks to teach Us...!!
That lobster look so good
Beautiful!
the guy just loves lobster :D
It's indescribable as he describes it
"its indescribable"...decides to describe it...
The more I watch this the more I want lobster
Ooh this made me so hungry
I could eat lobster every damn day for the rest of my life!
Damn, that looks good!
To think this whole time I was eating lobster properly...
This made me hungry
Everything is his favourite part :D
