Good idea but the other guy with the turn spin things and the strap is a more stable idea.. I want mine to survive the heaviest of storms and also be able to hang on the rim

You should get a mallet
Would have been easier to pre-drill the holes and insert the bolts before driving the stakes into the ground.
too much work, use 2 big screws (4-6 ft) on either side and a strap with hooks to connect on the screw. Use a wrench/long stick to secure the screw down and done. Should take 10-15 minutes
