Good day Dr. Daniel nice set up. I am a rabbit farmer from Nigerian. I just have a contribution to make. It doesn’t really matter if you touch the bunnies with your bare hands. The mothers will still accept them it’s a popular misconception.

That's the truth. I have 15 does that give birth around the same time always,by design. I touch all their babies from day 1 to maturity with zero issues.

I love how you design the different homes for the animals with material that is already on the ground.

You have to put holes underneath to enable the pee of the mom to come out cuz sometimes when they are breast feeding they can poop or pee in the nesting box

I have been hearing people saying/talking about how to create tunnels and plenty of space for the rabbits to run around and hide but in your well articulated video I did not see such a thing. My question is, are the tunnels necessary?

There are not many disadvantages to raising rabbits the way I have. But let’s talk about the disadvantages…. There are some chores. You are responsible to keep them fed and watered. You must protect them from predators. The way I raise them takes up a lot of space, but is less work than raising them in cages. You will need to kill them. Nobody here enjoys doing that part but we do it well. Then process the body using all the parts you can. Tan the furs and use them to make clothing. You need to cook up the meat and eat it,… that is the fun tasty part! You can can the meat and use it later! I get internet “death threats” from vegans. They believe that since I am killing an organism, that I am a murderer and should be killed. I just tune them out, and I am still willing to host vegans at Bosque Village who don’t have a problem with that aspect of the project. It is easy to eat vegan in the Bosque, and I support that lifestyle choice.
